Ferrie Bodde 01:42 - Feb 14 with 8714 viewsJack_The_Groove

Looks like our Ferrie has packed in his playing career and is now trying his hand at coaching. He's been appointed the head coach of amateur Dutch side sv Wateringse Veld.

Good luck Ferrie - you will always be a legend to Swansea fans.

People forget that people with quality rarely get to show this off in the lower leagues (bar Trundle) as most of the opposition just try and chop you down and hoof the ball 80 feet the other way.

Bodde was class in League One. In the Championship he was excellent then the horror injury came.

I think he could have made the step up, better than our current crop who the hell knows. But Williams, Rangel, Dyer and Britton all made the step up. And you could also see their quality in L1 and Championship.

Plus he's alot better than Jordi Lopez and he's got a European winners medal!

It amazes me now how the doctors made such a cock up with his knee.

I'm not an expert but ACL injuries happen all the time in the American Football and Basketball and they all get the help of James Andrews and they all recover fine and they're less likely to tear it again too.

Exactly. ACL happens alot in NFL and most come back stronger.

Lessons learnt if ever happens again.
