I’ve got a mate who’s never set foot in Anfield but claims to be a massive red. He wants there to be a Super League but with them also being allowed to continue in the Premier League whilst binning off the EFL cup. This is common amongst their followers. They really are welcome to each other, bin them off, get a normal tv deal and let proper fans enjoy a better playing field. Leave the Adult Disneyland Shite to the slimy six. |

The snaky six and their odious managers constantly cry arsing about fixture congestion but turning a blind eye to the extra games of the champions league. The media and the FA pandering to their bleating and turning the game into a cartel. The last straw being the scrapping of replays, a huge incentive for the lowers teams to get a big pay day. Binned off because Klopp and Pep asked them to. The fact that the final has been moved to a week before the season ends to support these coonts in possible CL finals is also a disgrace. It’s shameful but rarely gets called out by the sycophants in the media. |

It’s nuts how they have gone about spending with these charges hanging over them. They clearly don’t give a toss. Chelsea are worse though, selling hotels and their women’s team to fit in with PSR without any scrutiny. Football, at the top, is shit, bent and gone for the vast majority of match going fans. I’m not sure how many year longer I will keep my season ticket and find better things to do with my money and time. |

Haha, very true. They were in the running for Gibbs White and baulked at the price. He’s worth twice what Forest paid for him. Hopefully the new Everton will be more sensible than the old Everton! |

This is exactly the sort of signing Everton should be making, meeting whatever Saints value him at. I know you will all think, quite rightly, why would he go to a relegation rival, basket case of a club etc, but with new owners, new ground, PSR problems in the past and more revenue, hopefully this will be in the past and there will be a brighter future. Signing top potential players should be part of the plan. Forest did it with Morgan Gibbs White and built a team around him. They paid top whack when they were certain a for the drop and it paid off. I appreciate it’s unlikely like. |

I’d like to see him at Everton, the fact that he can play in both full back roles is a bonus and he could be a very good upgrade to Ashley Young who has done pretty well to give him credit. And 5 million is a bit of a steal. |

That’s about the size of it. Chelsea have been over by 220 million in the last two years and have sold a hotel and their women’s team to their parent company to offset it. They sold the women’s team on June 28th last year for an undisclosed sum, believed to be 150 million. |

I see Chelsea sold their women’s team to themselves for 150 million to offset their PSR for the season. That seems dead fair. |
![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | Forum Reply | Everton Sack Sean Dyche at 08:26 11 Jan 2025
I think he was more referring to going to a club for six months just to keep a club up on a short term contract. He’s been given a 2 1/2 year contract by all accounts. |
![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | Forum Reply | Everton Sack Sean Dyche at 07:18 10 Jan 2025
Hopefully Moyes will come in on a six month contract, make them stable and then they can attract a new manager in the summer when they have the new stadium. Dyche has been awful this season. Everton have scored twice in ten games, he tried to nil nil every match and the players hated the way they’ve been asked to play. I’ve been to nine games this season and saw one goal. There’s anti-football and there’s this. |

Happy New Year Saints. Wishing you all well for 2025. Less said about the football for both of us though. |

Howard Kendall? Won two league titles, one FA Cup, one European Cup Winners Cup. Howard Wilkinson, was he the last English manager to win the league? Joe Royle won the FA Cup in 95. Don’t think many English managers have won it since. |

The way City have imploded in the last six weeks or so makes me think that the players are staff have been given the heads up on their ongoing hearing. If it doesn’t go in their favour, that is all 115 charges in their favour, then they could be screwed and be relegated at the very least. Leaving at least one staying up spot up for grabs. Oh and belated Merry Christmas Saints, hope you all had a good one. [Post edited 27 Dec 2024 8:09]

A massive divisive bellend who blames everything and everyone other than himself. It’s never his fault. Should be fun. |

Wolves have been getting battered by VAR for about 18 months, regardless of who or where they are playing. Hence they were the only ones who voted to have it removed at the beginning of the season. There is an obvious bias towards the snide six, but Wolves get shafted in games against most clubs. I feel for O’Neill, he must be tempted to lose his shit in post match interviews and call it out. |

To say there is a biased towards Everton is laughable. This is the same Everton who were deducted a total of eight points, a larger punishment than Forest, never ever get a penalty and get shafted by VAR on a regular basis. The Forest game being a one off. I do feel for Wolves and especially O’ Neill. They are on the wrong end of VAR far too many times. That was definitely a penalty last night, both were. He’s also had to sell his best players due to FFP, more grating is that one of them was to Chelsea (Pedro Neto) for whom FFP doesn’t include. |

That’s because of El Sackio tomorrow. There’s a good chance that one of those managers tomorrow night will get the bullet on Tuesday. |

Moyes was fantastic at Everton, he knew how to make the most of the hand he was dealt and wins were routine. If the Moyes of 2004-2012 or whatever it was, was in 2024 he would be linked with Chelsea and United every summer. At that time there were lots of good managers so he probably didn’t get the credit he deserved. He’s been linked with Everton recently and a lot of blues would like and trust him to take him to the new stadium. He is a massive improvement on the David Brent, fist pumping, philosophy Martin. |
