Cannot believe you didn't find space to shoehorn Karl Henry, you was vociferous about him in HU block during his tenure at the club |
| News Comment | Falling apart again? Interview at 10:22:42
I can think of 22 teams who'd love to be in Leeds position. It will be interesting to see if Clarke is on the bench and the abuse he gets from the school end should he come on. It will be hilarious if he scored the winner, I rarely predict but I'm going for a 2-2 draw. Both teams can't defend recently, or in our case all season. And we don't do nil nils do we??? But I thought the same for the Cardiff City game |
| News Comment | QPR's in-form firepower downs Swans - Report at 20:41:56
Pugh dived, end of. I saw a replay within seconds and he threw himself to the floor. It was a disgusting attempt at cheating. As for the Swans subs Mulder & Scully? You scamp, yes I looked and checked !! |
| News Comment | Snap, crackle and flop - Podcast at 12:24:18
Good to hear Steve Quashie on the pod, someone who knows what he's talking about. He is doing a brilliant job this season with the women's team. In the past 3 seasons , the previous incumbent won 6 league games. Steve came back in the summer and the team now play with smiles on their faces and any feedback from the touch line is always constructive. They've won all 5 league games so far and the only game they've lost in 12was recently in the FA Cup vs Leyton Orient when they were very unlucky to lose 2-1 as it could have gone either way. They won all 3 games in their league cup group and qualify for the knock out stage, the draw is still to be made. Before Steve came back it was soul destroying watching them get thumped every week. At the start of the season I spoke to one of the parents who said her daughter hadn't received one to one goalkeeping coaching in three years. Steve changed that and they've kept 5 clean sheets in the 12 competitive games they've played so far. Not only that, they play the kind of football a lot of teams would be proud of. |
| News Comment | Lacklustre QPR pay Brentford penalty - Report at 10:19:15
I thought Benrahmas dive in the first half was a disgrace. Having nutmegged Leistner he then went to ground holding his left ankle. The ref then stopped the game for him to get treatment, which wasn't even necessary as there hadn't been a foul. Then there's the penalty, another embarrassing piece of acting by a Brentford player. Both bits of acting fooled the fool of a referee. |
| News Comment | QPR made to scrap for a point by rejuvenated Reading - Report at 21:31:30
Opening paragraph from the Daily Mirror report " Mark Warburton said his QPR side should have had a penalty as Reading came back to steal a point ". Obviously written by someone who wasn't even at the game . Could have that Aidan McGee fella from Sky who hardly ever goes to games but writes a column in the programme. Usually about his latest holiday or what his missus is up to. Or both. |
| News Comment | Amos brace brightens picture - Column at 01:54:27
In defence of Oteh, I have never seen him play well as a lone striker. He needs someone upfront to work alongside him. Two seasons ago it was him and Eze for the under 23s then Eze went out on loan. He then had different partners upfront and scored regularly for the next two seasons and finished top scorer at the club. |
| News Comment | Ways to lose at football - Report at 11:21:13
Is anyone concerned about the fate of Jayden Fogle??? The way he rolled over and over he must have been seriously hurt. I just hope he can look himself in the mirror without feeling embarrassed |
| News Comment | QPR make their point at Millwall - Report at 00:01:50
'but again he showed why he really should be starting' (BOS). Ironic a year ago to the day BOS tore the Wednesday defence apart at home as we went 3-0 up in 15 minutes. Him and Smyth were absolutely superb that night. They've hardly kicked a ball for us since. |
