I don't mind if this thread is stopped Clive.
Apologies. I started it simply because of how bad Biden appeared during his debate with Trump in terms of confusion and brain fog.
I didn't envisage people throwing insults at each other, which some are nasty.
Anyhow also the title of the thread is also irrelevant now.
Perhaps some lurkers may be put off posting about QPR, if they read how some posters are towards each other especially on political threads.
I would not worry if political threads were not allowed and those that wanted to debate, could go elsewhere for that type of debate.. |

Am especially hopeful for Rayan Kolli.
I won't say too much as I likewise had very high hopes for Sinclair and he never kicked on much.
Kolli though he seems to have the control, he has grown in stature, has a presence and looks for the big plays as against the safety first options.

Probably took Hitchin Town to champions league glory
So all these hidden gems, who none of us have ever heard of, am expecting two or three to be competing for the balon dor in three years time and this new four year plan will culminate in premier league and champions league glory.

Crikey there's a lot of nastiness on this thread
People's politics are down to the individual
We all have differing views and there's nowt wrong with that but some of these posts here are just downright nasty. Condescending to others also.
But scoring points about something as horrific as these three poor young little girls. That's bordering on criminal. It's an horrific situation that puts such petty disagreements online into total perspective and everyone can agree, whether they have kids or not and whatever their politics also, that this incident is about as horrendous a situation as anything could be.
Probably time to take a chill pill and think on what matters and what really doesn't.
Politics and religion - its never going to be debates where cosy agreements occur.
Best avoided I say.

If Jason Dozzell doing that, that's truly impressive mate.
Think he retired 15 years ago.
But probably Jason is even now still better than Andre.
I think Andre probably is one of these players that does well in training but put him in front of a crowd and he freezes.
But for him to get a contract at a club that got relegated last season from the premier league, that's mad.
I would give Kakay a contract somewhere as he tries his best and sometimes does well.
Andre Dozzell is just invisible. Maybe his name gets him a gig.

Was what you call an extremely tidy player.
Yes remember he wasn't originally a goal scorer.
Think Cifuentes tried a few players in different positions against Reading - not too many green shoots rising from that one , was there ?? |

Was at a home game when we were on a six game losing streak, one of many in recent seasons,and Holloway decided in his wisdom to put Joel Lynch up front !!!

£8 million is excellent business for JCS if that happens, but he is a key player and his link up with Steve Cook, was a massive factor in our improvement last season.
A player would hate to lose and we could do well to get likewise but with all his injury worries consistently over his career, obviously that's still lingering.
He could get injured and then gets sold at £1 million instead next season.

I think Larkeche could improve but rumours of a loan.
Paal - is for me inconsistent - but weak in defence at times.

If Cifuentes is here all season, we will do better than the quality of our squad.
We have a month to get in more players on loan or signings and amount of money available could increase if Eze gets sold.
And also obviously there is another window where we can readjust also.
We can't really assess anything right now

I was responding to someone who said Lloyd was worse than Frey.
I thought he was older but thought he was 28. The guy said Lloyd was worse. Was trying arrange point Lloyd just starting out to be criticising him after about his fifth or sixth first team game is madness. Think he has shown promise myself. But like Atmstrong should be loaned our at the right time, ie now, which Armstrong wasn't.
If Frey is 30, I can't see any reason why somehow we wouldn't wish to ship him out for the rest of his contract. Hope it's not too long left. Think he is difficult to sell |

Lloyd is a young player at the start of his career.
Frey is in the middle of his career and won't improve much.

Both this friendly and last week against Tottenham, Paal has been the proverbial full back on toast. Dunne superior to him on the other side amd it's not his natural position.
If Watford offer £2.5 million upwards, that's an excellent deal for us, provided we can get a replacement who is a better defender |

For me we need a decent left sided defender, perhaps another attacking central midfielder, is Varane a defensive centre mid, not sure, another wide player, don't mind which side and unlikely to happen, another centre forward.
If we could get rid of Dykes and Paal for £6 million total, I personally would snap that up.
Frey, I think was a panic buy, but I just think he is a lower league player, zero pace, which is his main fault.
Three but hopefully four incoming but for me some promise with Kolli and Lloyd, which is the biggest plus sign, so far.
I loved watching that from the Reading stands !!!

Dixon Bonner has to start. Kolli has to start.
Dykes went off injured after ten minutes and he was well over weight too.
Frey is not championship quality
Smyth was lively but it's the last ball or the shot that is still the issue
Colback and Field can not play together
Paal is a poor left back on that showing.
Celar looks fit but got no service.
Amdersen was OK.
Cook was our main playmaker which is wrong.
Nardi is great with his control but thought possibly could have done better with the save.
For me we need another centre forward. Frey and Dykes offer nothing
New left back. If Watford offering £2.4 million for Paal, yes please.
Second half they fell flat after Reading scored.
Wasn't my most enjoyable of days out ... |

Am very high up just past halfway line near QPR fans.
Reading out the traps quicker but we have controlled the game since with not much of a cutting edge.
Smyth getting in positions then doesn't think about his crosses at all. I can't see how he can change this. Should do better with a but of thought.
Lloyd has nearly bundled his way forward and Frey getting no service.
Dunne has been good as too the centre backs and Nardi has best touch for a QPR keeper i have seen im recent years.
Reading occasionally spluttered but they have kept us at bay.
Be interesting to see Kolli, Dykes and Celar as the front three second half with Andersen behind.
Flattered to deceive but shows promise but same old problem , cutting edge not there.
No subs yet as I think all were out on pitch at half time. [Post edited 27 Jul 16:05]
