Have just watched MOTD from last night and though I thought it was never a pen when live, afraid it was and no complaints. Aribo didn't even touch the ball
Unfortunately that definitely changed the game for us as heads went down both on and off the pitch and although I wouldn't go as far as to say Fernandes "goal" was def on or offside it wouldn't have made a great deal of difference, but how on earth could they justify about 4 minutes to decide though!
I did love the Red Wall's "It ain't football anymore" chant though! |

Agree, but if the money they keep losing (how bottomless is their pit?) maybe they will realise that the Premier league is not what they thought it was and sell us to the highest bidder?
But who's to say they'd be any different? |

Surely if the VAR cannot decide one way or another after say 30 or 45 seconds it cannot be a clear and obvioud error therefore referee's onfield decision should remain?
I know that is too simplistic for the PGMOL but does that not make sense? |

The trouble is, and more negative vibes, is that we'll struggle in the Championship next season if we do go down (I've still got that glimmer of hope, slight I know but .....) we may end up as Luton are now.
They were Prem last season and are now 2nd bottom and struggling. There may be other reasons for that which I'm not sure of, but how many of our current squad will still be here and will we be looking at League 1 players hoping to shine in the Championship? |

This morning's paper say we've put a £55m tag on his head so let the bun fight begin in June
But would he get the game time in a top 6 team that he wouldn't get in a Championship season?
And you never know he could be back in the Prem the next season? Ok maybe not, but with the reminder of MLT's skills etc we've just seen, it would be nice if he did stay |
