When Rohl is getting a tune out of the likes of Paterson who has the look of a Sunday leauge player you know you’re in trouble.
We looked comfortable up until the last ten minutes of the first half and then it dawned on me that a point would have been decent outcome.

The ref wasn’t very good . They had some wily pros giving him an earache and it worked .
He always seemed to be able to find yellow card for our lads but couldn’t never locate for Wednesdays misdemeanours. |

They came and did a number on us . No complaints really . We never really threatened apart from Paals free kick which was ironic really as he insisted on hitting the first man with his set pieces.

I remember been at home game against Sunderland game back in 89 . Saturday game but barely 9,000 at it .
On a non home game Saturday. I would go to Highbury with my Arsenal mate. They rarely went above 20,000 apart from London derbies and Liverpool and Man Utd.
In fairness they weren’t the saftest of places back in the day but that was half the thrill for me. |

Morgan has been a revelation. If he keeps progressing he’ll be worth 3 times what we payed for Madsen .
As for Ashbey . I remember saying to My mate at Half time at the Luton game what a terrible footballer he was and then he had a blinder second half . Strange.
He won’t be back here after the summer. He’s had his moments but overall he’s been very disappointing. Praying that Jimmy signs a new contract though or we’ll be very short on that side. |

Very true I remember the big losing streak under Ollie towards the end of the season which dragged us right into it .
I think a Karl Henry goal against Forest ended a worrying run of defeats. |

Sam Field said some thing quiet profound on the QPR podcast a month or so ago.
Basically he said this set of players won’t let a defeat affect them regardless of the score or performance.
The next game we got whipped by Swansea. We bounced back .
Exactly the same happened after we conceded six against Leicester.
We bounced back with knobs on .
This is a really tight Squad and they’ve all got each others backs. |

I was seriously worried when Cook and Morrison got injured but an astute loan signing and Morgan Fox who has really stepped it up in the last month or so and deserves enormous credit for it .
Marti makes players better and that’s the sign of a great coach.
Still have Cook and Jake as my pairing when fully fit . |
