I don't think it's sneaky at all. It's weighing up all our options which is wise.
I like Alan Sheehan what Ive seen of him as a person and more importantly what he has achieved in 2 short spells in charge.
However short term spells by interim managers are quite often successful. Cardiff have had quite a few Riza being the most recent example. His start I believe was as good as that of Sheehan's.
Gary Monk through his respect in the dressing room had an immediate positive effect and to his credit maintained an improvement for a season or so. In the end though his footballing philosophies did not align with the supporters' and the so-called "Swansea Way".
In the last 20 years at Swansea we have been blessed with wonderful brands of football.
We are quite right to consider this with our next appointment.
Alan Sheehan has given us some short term success and the players have run through a brick wall to support him but would a long term appointment turn us into just another team? rather than a team different from the rest attractive on the eye and with an attractive style and brand of football that we have got used to over the past 20 years or so

Yes Carl Slee's family are cousins I believe.
Don't think the Screen brothers are related though maybe wrong.
Fond memories of the Screen brothers - both local lads
and went on to play a bit in the Swansea Thursday league after the Swans.
How times have changed.

Our team showed tremendous character today.
Conceding a scrappy goal in the first minute and going down to what looked like a very late winner.
Outstanding effort and a great result against a very good side.
Pleased for Harry and Vip.
A result such as this could have a huge impact on confidence within the squad.

If Sheehan stays on until the end of the season and we appoint a new manager pre season then next season could easily turn out to be yet another season of transition.
Now is a perfect time for a new manager whether it be Sheehan or someoneo else to bed in.
Im sick of us just treading water.
