Hope loads of QPR supporters greet him and buy his book on Saturday in the club shop before the Middlesbrough match. Not quite old enough to have seen him on the flesh but seen many videos and heard what a speedy winger he was. I am certainly going to order his book.

The clearest memory I have of watching Dave Thomas at the Bush is a the 5-1 home defeat on his return with Everton.
He looked bloody marvelous that day.
Hmm, a genius winger with Bob Latchford on the other end...
Couldn't ask for more really.
Goals: Duncan McKenzie Bob Latchford Bob Latchford Bob Latchford Bob Latchford
Oh, and that other geezer.
Flamin Nora
How depressing your most vivid memory of DT is his starring role in our hammering by Everton and Latchford in 1976/77. (He turned in a few rather eyecatching performances the previous season, when we were quite good, I believe.)
I can still remember seeing a newspaper headline board outside a newsagents in Northfields Ealing where I was living at the time saying QPR sign Thomas I bought a paper and was amazed we had signed him My thought was we are going places now What a great player he was
I remember away at Wolves an amazing 70 yard dash down the wing and cross for a goal for Stan or Mick Leach can't remember

The book sold out.
Loverly interview with Dave on the pitch at half time very good to hear such a good response from the crowd for a true QPR legend. Well done Dave on a great cause he got quite emotional at the reception he got.

Apologies for the chronological slip - I stand corrected. Still depressing you mostly remember him for running riot against us, though.
Eh? Take a look at my avatar. And by the way you're confusing me with izlington hoop who mentioned the 5-1 Everton thrashing or with someone who gives a fück about what you think.

Where I sit in the South Africa Rd stand we can't hear a bloody thing when they conduct the interviews on the pitch at half time. The acoustics are dreadful. Have been like it for years.
It would be nice if these interviews with ex players were shown on the QPR website the following week.

Giving a f*ck what people think kind of goes with the territory of a message board for most people. If you disagree, why not go write your posts on a blackboard in your outside bog?
