It's absolutely fantastic that a young guy with obvious promise wants to stay after all the ones that fled. I think it's a bit to do with the Ebs legacy. However this guy progresses it's good news!
If you need even more QPR content as well as Hoopsa, LFW, Hoops and Dreams and Open All Rs, all of which I enjoy, this is another one hosted by a Sheff Wed fan but discussing mainly QPR with two of our fans. There's a weekly feature putting together an all time worse Qpr team.
If he thinks a player goes to ground too easily then it's not a freekick. If the ref believed it was a FK in that position running into the area then it's a booking. I'd say that even when it was a QPR defender.
Rare that Chair retaliates or Dunne gets into fisticuffs It always happens when a ref doesn't have full control.
I'm surprised you're holding that line when at one point Paterson blatantly pushes Chair off the ball, then Chair and him get in a tussle for the ball with admittedly some shoving and Paterson goes down clutching his face which was not remotely touched. Guess who got booked?
Are you actually saying that players shouldn't get booked for an obvious foul in a dangerous area because the person they foul sometimes dives? If so that's absurd. It's either FK or it isn't, a cardable offence or it isn't and that shouldn't change depending on which team fouls, who moans the most or who is better at conning the ref.
They deserved to win but the referee was inconsistent and weak and I thought that well before they scored.
Sky interviewer pre-match actually complimented him on being known for playing stylish, attractive football (paraphrasing but similar words). Shurely on a bet...
It's the bookings that make the difference as per Clive's report. Ref books our player then doesn't book theirs for a similar offence they can take more risk to tackle or deliberately pull back because they haven't already been booked..
There comes a point where the ref loses control of the match as happened midway through the second half where both sides just fouled each other. I didn't think he had authority over the game which affects the match win or lose.
Paterson also did a number on us. When he got Chair booked by blatantly shoving him off the ball and then went down clutching his face in the ensuing run and tussle down the line I had a bad feeling. The 5ft 7 Chair would have needed a chair to elbow the 6ft tall Paterson.
Just not our day. We looked jaded and they made it really hard to break through their lines.
Our dead ball deliveries were not at their best either so we couldn't get enough pressure on Wednesday. We didn't get enough players in and around their box so Frey was isolated..
Still I think most of us would have taken six points from this week. And we're still on track.
I wouldn't be answering the phone to Brighton if I were Nourry either. Recent incomings apart from Richards have been Tomer Hamed, Jan Mlakar and Kazenga LuaLua. Block them now.
It's only one more season left, isn't it? So at the end of this season if we can't get another loan for him we're probably best paying him off. Honestly it can't be good for anyone to have him hanging round technically on the books.
I think it's the five year contract, yes, and the big transfer fee. It's disappointing. I'm still hoping he'll become more effective. I haven't written him off. With Ashby I don't want him on even as a sub.
