I think we continue to vastly overestimate how attractive Marti might be to other clubs.
He moved us up a whole five places last season and this season we're at the giddy heights of 14th after one of the worst, if not the worst, starts to a season we've ever had and playing absolutely awful football. No one is looking at that record and thinking, fantastic, this guy looks ideal for a promotion campaign. |

Why does a keeper need hydration on hand during the game anyway? It's not like they're using up loads of energy like outfield players do and might benefit from a quick sugar boost other than maybe at half time. It's nonsense. |

No doubt he's been a frustrating player, but I just checked his stats and he's up to 65 Champ appearances since he returned, so he's now in that zone where the playing experience is really starting to benefit his game.
He and Kolli were causing Preston a lot of problems with their pace, movement and direct play. I was a little surprised Kolli went off when he did, but I guess a combination of his having been ill and needing to get minutes in for Frey. |

Within ten years Rowett will probably have managed a good majority of past and present Championship clubs.
Oxford will probably go down, so a racing cert Rowett will be back with another club next season. Probably Cardiff or Hull if either stays up. |
