Another plug for "Out there". It's been tremendous so far. The story is based on two main themes, small scale farmers' struggle to run their businesses profitably and county lines drug organisations. |

I think repairs are more expensive now. I was quoted £90 minimum to repair hiking boots whose soles were coming off. I managed to buy a decent new pair for just £47. If you have a faulty electronic device, including cookers, the website ifixit.com might be helpful. |

I doubt there is anything in this but I will share it anyway. I reckon he would be out of our price range, from both a budgetary and S & P perspective; there are rumours that Luton have just had an offer for him rejected:

"I know it sounds a bit obsessive but he'll be another Toddy Kane". Ah, in that case, sign Ashby immediately, then flog him to Sheffield United for £12m. Simples! |

"wtf more do you want him to do when he comes on as sub?" Look, it must be hard for anyone - anyone - to come on that late in a highly competitive, meaningful game, and to be fair to him, he didn't do anything disastrous, but his closing down, tracking and marking were poor. Being goalside is not enough in and of itself, you have to be close enough to your man to put them off, tackle them, or actually stop their pass/shot. There were times when Madsen was in the right place but stood off too much. He needed to get tighter, it's being up close which makes the difference, although you still have to be goalside and leave a small gap, so you don't get rolled. There was even one time when Hull had the ball in our half and Madsen was close enough to engage but moved away from the ball. As I say, his performance wasn't disastrous but he does need to contribute more defensively. He can come good, I trust our coaches, they have successfully improved quite a few of our players. I think most people on here are just disappointed that he is not delivering. What makes things worse for Madsen is that many of his fellow players have raised their game, something which makes those who are not performing stick out more. |

"You can't jog around like that in this league without having something else incredible to offer, which he doesn't as far as I can see". This is where I am as far as Madsen is concerned. If you play like Taarabt in his pomp, coaches will sometimes let you off if you contribute little when your team is out of possession, although Pep worked hard to make Aguero contribute defensively in spite of the ton of goals he was scoring. It's odd that we have both a player who is superb at closing down - Smyth - and one who, thus far, is terrible at it, so, Madsen, in the same squad. I still hold out hope that Madsen can be taught to get closer to his man and mark and tackle more effectively. We have seen other members of the squad improve markedly under Marti, so there must be a chance. As for Ashby, I think he might come good but at the moment, as others have already said, he needs to concentrate on getting the basics right. |

Hull kicking lumps out of Lloyd and there it is, 1-2, Rangers prevail. Get in! Well done my team 👏 |

Tricks his way past the opponent right by the goal line, then bangs it in from a very acute angle. Peachy. |
