QPR slip further into the mire with dire Brum loss - Report
at 08:51:18

Totally fair comment Clive - enjoy the 'break'.

I am - giving LFW a rest for a while - loads of refereeing to do in any case.

Sorry should have added, it WAS quite sad the (lack of) quality on display.

Barring points deductions, which I've seen some Brum fans are worried about, they will finish comfortably above relegation and they WERE awful - just not quite as awful as us.

Doesn't matter but 6 was generous for Seny. The save was great but there were an awful of of balls straight into touch under no pressure and no sign of apology to teammates either.

Agree with above about Sam Field - he's finally been "QPRd" - his worse game for us by far.

But she just smiled and turned away — Report

Reed - the midfielder - the unsung hero for them, picks up every second ball, rarely misses a pass, available all the time, despite our plethora of midfielders, no one we have does that.

Referee - surprised, I thought you might go mad at the pen, I saw it as you did, Mrs Pinner, pretty sensible! ;-) thought it wasn't. Agree about Fulham coach should have been yellow carded but MW's defence of Eustace is laughable - he didn't realise the bloke standing there for 90 mins dressed as all other 4th officials have been all season was the erm....4th official?! and even if that were the case its Ok to push someone else then is it? To add to the stupidity he then said he was fine with the keepy uppies, "All part of the game"!

Only needs 5 words to sum it all up - beaten by the better team.

The view from the Pu — February
at 15:04:08

Usually agree with most in these but have to take issue with a few things here

1) Albert's 'goal' - a 'deflection' means the player is OFFside - looks a bit silly to accuse AR of not knowing 'rules' then quoting the law incorrectly.
2) Number of games in Feb - surely many teams have had same number and done better
3) Small squad - doesn't look it according to the back the matchday programme, where ours always looks bigger than oppos

Sorry!

Familiar refereeing complaints struggle to mask QPR shortcomings — Report
at 11:07:01

Sooooooooooooo the SJ penalty wasn't, Field's foul was (OK debateable if you like, but not 'diabolical') Dozzell's 2 yellows perfectly fine and erm that's it.

Mass confrontation is always the referee's fault and I feel about that football myth as you do about Mr Stroud - lest leave it there while both our blood pressures are just about low enough to spare us A & E! :-)

QPR's latest comeback falls just short at Bournemouth - Report
at 16:54:55

Myke - already explained on the forum why Willock's kick was probably not a red, but didn't see the game, only 2 mins highlights on offy.

Clive IS bang on about the pen though, it IS a pen and Mr S DID wave play on.

Only thing I would say with the 5 subs, is that they have to made a max of 3 times (+ht) so not much difference to making 3 singular subs in terms of match time 'lost'.

Excellent as ever. 'Just' the end of season for you to do and us to look forward to....for a change, although how you 'mark' people like Lyndon and Lee after such contrasting 1st and 2nd halves of the season i don't know!

Frustration to thrills, disaster to delight, one extreme to another - Report
at 15:44:20

Ref probably deserved an 8 or 9. Yes agree, could have booked Wallace, but it wasn't as obvious as some of those we've seen and as you say DID look like a pen in real time on first look - all the poor ref ever gets in this league!

Kakay's foul was his 3rd or 4th and all his own doing as he miscontrolled the ball before the foul, so needless x 2 really!

Struggling to think of anything ref missed tbh, and yes it WAS a shockingly bad decision v Brentford, but that's another day - that's like never giving Lumley or Wallace a decent mark ever again because of earlier shockers! ;-)

QPR’s calamitous cave-in gives Millers hope - Report
at 16:34:02

Thanks Clive, some impressive stats work there, proving that we can read/choose them as we see fit!

Dickie's is never handball, but given the complexity of the now ridiculous handball law, I can see why nearly every one of these draws vastly different conclusions from everyone.

On the Ginger McDonald 2nd foul, and that's all it was, think you've followed Nick there, who always draws a deep breath when any player commits a foul after a caution - it doesn't mean it has to be another one.

As I put on the forum I thought ref let too much go, so not arguing (for a change!) with your 6 this time! ;-)
