With regard to 'Ilias Chair Module 1.1' teams normally defend against this by having a midfielder or winger close by inside the full back to force Chair across the box if he tries to cut inside. I felt Dunne was left very isolated for the goal especially as Murphy also had the pace to beat him on the outside if he was shown the byline. |

Thanks Clive. Sounds like we got what we deserved, 'null points'. Despite the grim reading you still managed to make me laugh with the brilliant line, 'Saito, and later Yang Min-Hyeok, were on the end of artillery fire so heavy I thought Lyse Doucet and Orla Guerin were going to rock up and start covering it ...'' |

Thanks Clive. Your report fully reflects the enjoyment of being there on Friday night. Fantastic entertainment and, as others have mentioned, great to see smiles on the players faces. They are certainly the most likeable bunch we've had for a long time. Loved the line; '21 different scorers - like Katie Price’s house on Father’s Day'. |

Yes Parker had a tremendous leap and must have been one of the shortest centre backs to play at the English top level. I remember a match against Arsenal where Alan Smith hardly won a header playing against him. Although he played at right back for England and Man U, I always thought he was better at centre back. |

Thanks Andrew. Fantastic report. I thought we had a strong bench on Tuesday night and great to see Clive has a very strong bench of match reporters too. |

Stood and watched it. Should have attacked it and cleared it for a corner. |

Thanks Clive. Very balanced analysis of the pros and cons of selling Jimmy. Personally I’d love to see him stay, but suspect he will go. Loved the line, ‘That horse had bolted, enjoyed a long and successful career in racing, retired, sired many a future champ, and died before we got round to asking whether it might like another sugar lump’. LOL 😂. |

Must be a shoe-in for Championship January Manager of the Month if we win tomorrow. |

“I’m looking forward to it either way. The league table pressure is off. QPR are playing well, with a well-coached team full of likeable players, a promising assortment of youngsters and the best manager we’ve had down here for a long time.” One of my favourite paragraphs you’ve ever written. A great time to be an R’s fan! |

Has done well to stay injury free since he joined us but does miss odd games due to totting up yellow cards. Appears to have a great attitude and happy to fill in for us in different positions. I hope he stays with us for a good few years to come. |

Revealing article from 6 years ago which explains the highs and lows in his life. I'm glad he made it past 60 and was doing better in the last few years but 65 is still far too young to go. Thanks for highlighting Cider. RIP Tony. |

Think the most appropriate song for yesterday would have been the Leicester fans singing ‘We can’t see you sneaking out’. 😀 |

Very sad news and especially tough for his family and friends at this time of year. It sounds from the FT piece that he lived life to the full but was a dedicated family man and certainly one of our own. Condolences to his family, friends and all the R's fans who knew him. RIP Andrew. |

Interesting on the Arsenal corners routine that Brighton dealt with it at the weekend by leaving three players up towards the halfway line. It meant Arsenal chose to keep four players back. The Arsenal players in the box still congregated at the back post initially but their running/blocking into the goalmouth was not near as effective with less congestion around the goal. |
