Top players (Barton excluded) who are deemed to be at the top of their game, rather than having something to prove, are more likely to sign for Hughes IMO.
If Samba signs and he puts it down to Hughes it seriously will go along way to the negative fans "accepting" him alot more quickly and as much as i hate to say it, forget Warnock very quickly.

The other benefit Samba offers is a real goal threat at set pieces. If we have him and HH going up for free kicks etc, that's two real aerial menaces!
