I wonder what the practicalities are of this. Can Reform field the candidates? At the moment the polls are based on no Welsh candidates and no Welsh policies. Interesting times. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Can't be for the worst , Labour after 25 years have managed to make Wales the poorest among the countries and regions in the UK, with a poverty rate of 23%., less educated with Wales bottom of the league tables and unhealthiest with waiting times the highest . Can't be any worst can it? | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) |

We do. Welsh Labour have had carte blanche for far too long. But we don't really have a sensible alternative. They're either the same with independence, further left with independence and have crocheted their own sandals, too small to be significant, useless and heading further right or furthest right full of nonsense with idiots as politicians. We'll have a Plaid / Labour coalition with Reform as at least the third biggest party, potentially even the largest. Same old. It all depends on the turnout. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Reform Wales on 22:17 - Feb 14 with 725 views | majorraglan | Reform did very well at the last GE, but their vote share wasn’t reflected in the number of seats that they actually won. Their manifesto had more holes in it than a Swiss cheese and it was completely uncosted, but they still did well. They have had a groundswell of support and with decent candidates and a solid manifesto they could do very well. I think Labour have had things their own way for too long and ruled the roost for too long. I’d like to see a hung Senedd where parties work together for the common good. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Reform will go forward with the policy to offer the Welsh public a referendum on the future of the Senedd. This will be a game changer and the only policy they will need to give them power. Then in the GE they will say they give voters what they want. The major parties really need to up their game. | ![](/images/avatars/9155.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

The status quo does need to be challenged but effectively so. Their plans for the uk seem to be get rid of immigrants and put the word ‘British’ in front of everything. I look forward to seeing some actual proper policies. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

That's populism for you. Unfortunately the voters can't have what they want. They want lots but don't want to pay for it. That's why Reform are a real danger. They're selling magic beans to Jack but this isn't a pantomime. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

And we were told devolution would be better for Wales, what has improved....what has gotten worse? It's a very lopsided list. It seems there is a lot of pork in Wales. They are Trump wannabees …. They want to make the NHS an insuranced based service. You cant pay the insurance, you dont get the care you need. Thats Reform for you. Stick that on a red bus …. | ![](/images/avatars/9736.gif) |

The worrying thing is, Kilky, that just like in the USA with Trump, a lot of people will vote for this bunch from Reform because they make a lot of noise about very emotive issues. As a result politcs will be subsumed, whittled down to 2 or 3 big ticket arguments and we won't hear policies about other vital areas. It'll possibly be immigration, devolution/independence, the NHS here in Wales. Then we'll see politics go just like it was during Brexit, reduced to the lowest common denominator, filled with hate and loathing and the facts just ignored. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

I'll ask you again as you dodged the question last time I'll try again ,where in their manifesto does it say that the NHS will be dismantled to such a state that everyone will need private health insurance , by the way 6.2 million people in the UK had private health insurance in 2023, which is around 12% of the population. This has increased from 5.8 million people in 2022 and 5.4 million people in 2021. and as we know the NHS in Wales is in a perilous state and I can only see those numbers continue to rise, waiting times in Wales are the longest so it comes as no surprise that so many are trying to avoid the queues , and who can blame them , the waiting time for me to see a consultant is over a year , just to be assessed then another year after that , is that acceptable in a modern progressive Wales ? I paid my money and saw one in 3 weeks with time for the op 6 weeks . | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) |

It is looking bleak. Reform should be unelectable, I get a protest vote but there's a decent chance these morons could end up with a degree of power. We do need change and Wales biggest problem is two of the biggest parties aren't far off identical. The UK's biggest problem is the media. The UK desperately needs a new centrist party or voting/political reform. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
