Argyle boss Miron Muslic has just revealed Morgan Whittaker was "available for selection" tonight v #BurnleyFC but "didn't show up" for the game.

This is what people defend in players.

Necessary management for me. Him Obafemi and Paterson were an absolute disgrace.

all 3 have a talent LBH, but surely lacking in something, ive said it before, in their old age theyll look back and regret some actions.

saying that we all do , but some of us dreamed and would have done anything tp become a footballer, and never had the skill or the luck.

Some managers are mistreated and other are not. Swansea had no player rebellions under Cooper. Peterson wanted a move and forced it. Martin had multiple problems. Obafemi played his best football under Martin though.

Stand by everything we said about him, what he did how he behaved, and how it was him who messed up his time here. This is the third club he has done it at. He’s gone missing because he wants to move, just like he turned up in the crowd at Plymouth when he was at Swansea. Spoilt little boy. Bad news and everything in a person I dislike.

Well said.

Swans need the same ‘no dickhead’ rule that has served the All Blacks so well.

Dirty little mercenaries that’s what they are. Everyone wants to earn more money but there’s a way to go about it.

If it is the club policy to remove trouble makers it should be applauded not criticised as some seem to revel in.

Agree with that….but didn’t we use to carry out a due diligence on a player regarding his character, would his family settle in the area, and integration with the incumbent squad?
We could save money by not repeating mistakes on players who are nothing but trouble.

Sometimes clubs take a chance and hope they have learnt their lesson and matured. Dyer would be a perfect example of a success for us.

Swansea have had players sulking after missing out on moves and ending up as legends Ferries Bodde to Derby, Neil Taylor to Newcastle even Angel Rangel.

Managers need to extract value from those players. Potter did it with McBurnie. Martin said not do it with Whitaker. He desperation to get him out the door lead to a low selling pricem

You’ve chosen to tell only half a story as you tend to when you’re trying to make a point

For balance and accuracy you might want to try to explain your findings

Professionals of the ilk of Angel Rangel and Ferrie Bodde were happy to give their club, Swansea, their full respect by always giving 100% to the cause regardless of interest and a possible move to other clubs falling through

The significant difference with Whittaker is there for all to see and he’s still playing those games. He’s a big time Charlie at least in his own head he is and is well known for his attitude problems which he showed when at Swansea. Martin wasn’t going to pander to his throwing toys out of the pram approach and wanted him to man up. After a few years of growing up he’s still got a long way to go. Doubtless someone like Burnley will take a punt on him as they did with Obafemi.

We knew it would all come out in time, especially with Morgan, and he’s proven it himself this week.
