Cambridge now want to send him back, but we've turned the lights off, hidden under the table and pretended nobody is in...

If we find out there was a hidden obligation to buy clause, Nourry would deserve his own open-top bus parade.

Rock bottom of League One and he still can't get a game.

Runaway!
That is a damning interview from Garry Monk. Bottom of L1, and they don't want him. But, neither do we.

Is it 18 months left on his contract?

So, that means QPR won't take him back unless another club wants to loan him before the end of January (unlikely) and Richards himself is willing to go to that other club, which would be at most L2 or SP2 (unlikely). That is so unfair on Richards ... err ... nobody ever said.

He's staying at Cambridge, where he will have to turn up and train. Otherwise, I bet he can be fined. That will be mentally taxing and stressful. It could even wrongly and allegedly result in another physical injury, allegedly.

Soon, he will be in the last year of his contract. I expect him to start playing great, and then we will loan him for the last year to some club in Poland, probably for free, yet he has to pay his own expenses.

He will go to show what he can do, to convince another club to sign him in L1, and also because it's super cheap over there. No doubt many girlies want to be married to a UK footballer who is young enough to get into the Prem and the mega riches (even though we here know that may never happen ... allegedly).

Then there are the Holiday clubs in Hong Kong, ala JET and Todd Kane, with eventual retirement due to an unresolvable injury. It's all very sad ... for QPR.

After all that, it's a new adventure to be a Football Agent, as he has been through it and understands the pressure for young ones, unlike the tired old men type agents who talk on shows about how the clubs let them down with his 'struggles' and personal trauma.

He will now be fighting the good fight for all the other new young players coming through (while taking 25% ... allegedly). Not to mention that he trained with X stars at Brighton before they became stars, knows them well, and is not surprised as he always knew they would make it (not revealing that he's also their new agent ... allegedly).

It seems the career is all mapped out and thought through. Top strategic planning there.
Well played, son.

zzzzzzzzzz

I’m amazed they’ve shown as much patience with him. It must’ve been clear within a few weeks he has no interest in playing football for anyone.

But it is, again, an example of a club grabbing a shiny thing with zero research or due diligence. You don't need to look too deeply into this one to know you don't touch that guy with a shitty stick - anybody in the Crown & Sceptre could tell you that. And yet they take him. And now they're publicly bitching about why we won't take him back.

embarrassing on many levels but mostly for Richards himself. I'd be looking at a new career. I get he's probably on good enough money and another 2 years left on his contract? Fcuk me sideways...

And I suppose if he’s a ‘good lad’ and ‘trains well’ he’s doing just enough to avoid any kind of breach of contract attention.

ps. I’d love to see an interview with him with yourself Clive, just to get a peek inside his brain. Also listening to you trying to maintain a professional persona when faced with this pish taking ponce could be entertaining.

When you look at him as a youth player at Manchester City he's potentially got everything that Phil Foden has. Such a complete waste. I understand him losing his best friend but whatever is up with him, it's way deeper than that. Completely baffling how someone could waste their career like this.

This! I just hope that once the plug is pulled on his career that we don't one day wake up to tragic news.

The grass is always greener.

We’ve a good honest bunch of lads here now, trust the upper echelons won’t let this clown anywhere near our place again.

“What’s wrong with him Billy?”

“Nothing, that was us, we misused him. Can I say it’s done in principle and start drawing the paperwork?”

It's only one more season left, isn't it? So at the end of this season if we can't get another loan for him we're probably best paying him off. Honestly it can't be good for anyone to have him hanging round technically on the books.

But Cloughie won a European Cup with his misfits and rejects.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

I thought the welcome interview that Cambridge put on their official website at the start of the season looked really quite bizarre. Richards looked like his somewhat spaced out overfed twin, with a mop-top haircut that looked like his Mum had cut his hair using a bowl as a guide.

When he talked, he reminded me of Frances Farmer after her famed lobotomy.

Something is clearly seriously amiss with this young man, and a happy ending (in any or all senses) seems somewhat unlikely..

Do you think we will activate the extra year option at the end of his contract 🤔

I find it surprising someone within the club hasn't leaked out the actual story with him. It must be quite well known within a circle of the clubs staff.

All the theories, all the gossip, all the tall stories. Someone must actually know what's going on.

I forgot about that waste of space. Brighton certainly had our pants down with this one.

Well and truly mugged off and they knew they were tucking us up too.

Certainly don’t want him back at the training ground stinking the place out.
