Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

The thread should stay because it serves as a reminder to all of us what can happen when you take people at face value. When life long servants of your Club ( Neville Neville) are taken on their word, when the fans representatives ( Forever Bury) are compromised and too close to those in the Boardroom ( Neville, Day etc), when the voice of the fan is shut down because it doesn’t fall into line with the Status quo...i’ll leave it at that!

Think this thread needs a bump for a visitor.
I'd be really worried about the rumblings going on inside your own club than worrying about visiting fans seeing this thread.....
You can't knock us down anymore...we have nothing more to lose...been there ...done it,come to terms a long time ago....you however (possibly) have it all to come.

Yep, bury fans lost their club, sitting back, accepting every implausible signing and "enjoying the ride". "Eating the Milky Bars" as some have said. Celebrating the not paid for promotion on Tranmere's pitch while your "bete noir" Steve Dale was the owner. Blackpool fans for example made a determined fight back with much personal sacrifice along the way. bury fans didn't. The Blackpool fans route will be our modus operandi if needs be. RAFC is solvent where bury wasn't for decades. Nowhere near the levels of worry bury fans should have had from the Hugh Eaves era and administration and beyond. And they did nowt apart from Fornever bury and we know how that ended up. Mugs.
bury fans wussed out and they know it, until it was too late and the odd woman chained herself to a drainpipe in a last desperate attempt at salvation. We've learnt so much from bury's mistakes, they won't be made at Rochdale.
Worry about your own minor league phoenix club. Your old club is dead. Ours isn't. We won't let our club die as feebly as bury fans did. All the best.

So, in the space of a few hours you’ve gone from being genuinely concerned about our supposed situation to reverting to type and being a typical bury bitter.
Have another go when you’re not thick enough to think you had control of your stadium and social club back like the time you bragged about it on here. I think the phrase for wannabe hoolies like yourself is “Jog on” isn’t it?

Just thought I'd point out the 300+ page reminder we have about what can happen if fans don't actively get involved, question and do their own due diligence when it comes to outsiders coming into the club.
And I'm not knocking anyone down. We are grateful for your concern. If you're really that worried about us I'll see you at Spotland when we're all allowed back you could even treat yourself to a season ticket.

They did have a training facility in Carrington already - have they now left there and took on the ex Man City facility?
Sale's old training ground has had the signs taken down,bURY,S old training ground now has a sign saying Sale Sharks Community Ground. The car park was full and the old one was empty. Sale's owner has very deep pockets ( Simon Orange, brother of TakeThat's Jason)

I've read today that there are two rival Phoenix groups. One is Bury FC run by Steve Dale who have applied to join the National League and who will play at Gigg Lane. The other is AFC Bury. You couldn't make it up.

If Dale were away at somewhere remote of the Gillingham or 0lymouth persuasion, and I fancied watching a game, i"d consider a trip to Rammy or Radcliffe to watch a genuine Phoenix AFC Bury.
Wouldn't touch Steve Dale, or anything to do with him, with a bargepole. He

'Only happy when you've got it often makes you miss the journey'
How can both Bury FC and AFC claim to be the legitimate successors to the former League club?
Surely, only one of those will be recognised and admitted to the football pyramid, or are they both trying to enter as entirely separate entities?
Sadly, I'd guess the Steve Dale outfit has a better claim, but I gather that they won't be admitted if he remains in control. Still a bloody quagmire after all this time.
