Midfielder Ian Craney signed on loan from Accrington Stanley until January, he has already scored 6 goals this season in his first season in the Football League. Craney started his career at non-league Runcorn before moving to Altrincham in 2001.

Ian is apparently a skilful, strong player who likes to shoot from long distances, he has also played at semi-professional level with England and he scored 14 goals last season from midfield. He also won the Conference and Non-League Player of the Year awards last season.
