Its A Tie In The Prediction League Tuesday, 1st May 2012 09:28
It was tense on the final day of the season but after Saturday's result we have a tie at the top of the Ugly Inside Prediction League.
After the dust had settled on the prediction league, MattiusheGreat suddenly found he had a rival at the top, SaintGus came up on the rails, meaning that both finished on 77 points.

So how do we declare the winner, with no goal difference or head to heads in this league its a difficult task, both had got the same number of correct results (6) but in other categories its Gus is better in one and Mattius another, so therefore the only thing to do is declare the final outcome a tie and the joint winners are saintgus and MattiusTheGreat. If both would like to contact me through the site's pm system I will arrange a little prize for each of them.
A special mention should go to the three members who ran them a close game, winchesterbob, undertoomers and saintbrum64 who after his second placing last year once again came agonisingly close to the top spot.

Thanks Nick, just have to say I'm chuffed to nuts to make third place, especially as I could not bring myself to predict a draw or a Saints loss all season........ I would have felt like i was jinxing the result......it was great fun. I will be further chuffed if Saints finish third in the premiership next season!! | | |

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Arsenal Polls |
