| Forum Thread | Watching the full game (Liverpool) at 05:22 24 Feb 2014
Is there anywhere online I can watch the whole game? Preferably with English commentary, or no commentary at all.. I know there were a few places to watch the whole Cardiff game but mostly with foreign language commentary. Haven't seen any of the goals, or know when they were scored so would probably prefer to watch the whole game rather than ten minutes on MOTD2. Cheeeeeeeeeers.. |
| Forum Thread | Laudrup - Sky Sources. at 04:13 6 Feb 2014
Don't know if any of you care now, given it being more important to look ahead rather than back but was just listening to Sky Sports News Radio who claim their "sources" (always wondered who they were) claim Laudrup had rejected Nacer Chadli and Lewis Holtby deals when offered to him by the board. And by the time he'd changed his mind the deals were already off. One or both of those players would have greatly improved our side, and Chadli especially would have suited Laudrup's style, so why would he reject the chance to sign someone he wanted last summer? All was clearly not well.. Be interesting to hear Laudrup's next interview, wherever, and whenever, that may be. |
| Forum Thread | Jeffrey Schlupp at 08:18 31 Jan 2014
Sky Sources reporting Swansea City have made a £2.5m approach for Leicester City's winger-come-striker Jeffrey Schlupp. A couple of seasons ago he tore many a Championship side apart, but seems to have stagnated lately. Interesting move, but definitely confirms that we've told Tom Ince to feck off! |
| Forum Thread | Cardiff home, long shot.. at 00:01 25 Jan 2014
Appreciate it's a long shot, but does anyone have one spare home ticket for the Derby. Was due to work it but have since managed to get it off and thought maybe someone else might have a spare. Full price and a pint offered. Reply or email me at josephh_17@hotmail.com if you have one or know of anyone who has/may have. Thanks. |
| Forum Thread | Deadline Day at 04:02 23 Jan 2014
Can anyone confirm the time the transfer window shuts? I'm assuming Friday, 31st January but at 11pm as has been the case in the last few, or midnight? Also, can see us being involved somehow. Neil Taylor to Fulham could be one going out, still expect us to sign a striker and a winger - although given recent links it looks like a holding midfielder/back up center back seems high on the agenda, given our current injuries. Tom Ince has had his bidding war that he and Daddy were obviously after, but we'll see what comes of it. Be one to the wire too because Blackpool won't want to lose such a talent for nothing in the summer, surely? Roll on, Jim White Day.. |
| Forum Thread | Player Loans at 06:58 14 Jan 2014
With a lot of talk recently linking us with loan moves for the likes of Sterling, Zaha and Pillington, it made me think what other players we could loan. I thought of John Guidetti, but then saw that Stoke were nearing getting him. Then I saw this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25720354 Pay special attention to the line about needing to sign Ireland first as a club can only have two loaned players at any one time. With Vazquez and Lamah on loan deals, that rules us out of any loan deals this month, unless i) Laudrup makes Lamah or Vazquez' loans permanent, or ii) someone knows a loop-hole around it. Looks like Huw's going to have to get the chequebook out! |
| Forum Thread | Raheem Sterling at 06:06 3 Jan 2014
Was linked with us in November, and now the Mirror says that ML is in discussions to agree a loan deal for him. Rodgers has said all along he wants to loan him out if he gets an experienced winger in during January - with them looking ever likelier to sign Mohammed Salah this month, this deal looks like it could well happen. We urgently need a winger and he's one of the only three I can see coming. Zaha is another, but he may favour returning to Crystal Palace, and Tom Ince who appears to be available, but might favour going somewhere else.. What do we make of Sterling? Good enough as cover until our new manager (presuming Laudrup leaves in January) can sign someone on a permanent basis in the close season. I'd be happy to have him and another striker to fill us through to Summer. As nice a lad as Vazquez is, he couldn't hit a barn door from a foot away. |
| Forum Thread | Online stream at 17:37 12 Dec 2013
You'll have to forgive me, I know the games on ITV4, but I'm out, and can't watch it is there anywhere online I can pick this game up on my iPad? Can't use ITV Player as you need to pay to watch itv3 and itv4 live.. Cheers :) |
| Forum Thread | Wigan Athletic's support at 05:58 19 Sep 2013
Feel for their fans, getting the stick they get. Yes, I'm aware this is a Swansea forum yada-yada-yada (cue some sarcy quote from Darran et al) But their fans are loyal, and sure - not strong in numbers but loyal. And can't knock the 3,000 travelling Wiganers tonight to Belgium for their Europa League game against Zulte Waregem. Got a lot of time for them, even before Martinez did what he did. |
| Forum Thread | Laudrup's Release Clause at 06:33 9 Sep 2013
Following yet another bull. report from The Mirror linking Laudrup with the Benfica job yesterday, it made me think whether the £10m release clause they claim is in his contract is genuine. If that's the case, surely we won't be losing him until next summer at the very least? No club is going to fork out that release amount, surely? Wish these silly articles would stop, already. |
| Forum Thread | Daniel Alfei at 14:30 4 Sep 2013
Is it just me or is anyone else disappointed we've not seen much of him? (Is he even still with us?)! He played a few FA Cup games a few years back if I remember rightly and impressed massively, including getting Man of the Match on his debut. Personally rated him higher than Jazz Richards. With the likes of Davies, Richards, Donnelly etc seemingly impressing, I wish we could see Alfei a bit more as a future, free replacement for Rangel - who's years at the top level are probably running down quickly now - although I couldn't knock his consistency since he signed for us. Opinions? |
| Forum Thread | West Brom & Sunderland at 15:47 1 Sep 2013
Alright, we're three games in, but anyone else think it could be a very long season for these two? West Brom seemed very poor today and at home in their previous game at the Hawthorns. Sunderland looking equally vulnerable - big risk making so many changes to that team, as Di Canio has made this summer. |
| Forum Thread | Attackers - 2 days to go. at 10:18 1 Sep 2013
Getting somewhat concerned. Thought Laudrup wanted all business done with a fortnight to spare. Guess he's waiting for the merry-go-round at the big clubs to see who'd be available? Perhaps considering we're playing West Brom today they've agreed to sell Odemwingie to us after the game so he doesn't come back to haunt them - much like we did with Graham and Sunderland in January. Not sure how I feel about Odemwingie to be honest, being 32 years of age! Cardiff City fans seem to think they've got him though: http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=122201 If it isn't Odemwingie who could it be? Can't see it being Lukaku. Wouldn't mind it being Guidetti or that Croation rumoured earlier in the week. One more signing, I'd have thought. Probably tomorrow. Happy Jim White Day Eve. Ties at the ready. |
| Forum Thread | Ticket update at 13:20 1 Aug 2013
Last I heard we were at 16,000 for tonight - that was late on Tuesday, any idea how much that's grown by, by now? Any idea how many the Swed's are bringing? |
| Forum Thread | Ticket Site System at 01:06 31 Jul 2013
Hi, Trying to make use of payday and buy my Malmo home ticket online but whenever I try and submit which stand I want, it times out. Tried over the last hour, on my laptop, iPad and phone and its the same issue. Anyone else having the same problems? Am I right in saying its online sales only? Or could I ring up in the morning to buy one? Thanks in advance! |
| Forum Thread | Malmo (h) Ticket Availability at 10:03 30 Jul 2013
Does anyone have a vague idea of how many tickets are left on sale? I took my girlfriend and our daughter to London at the beginning of the month meaning I've been overdrawn all month, and subsequently had to wait until payday to buy my ticket for this one - praying to all that's holy that there's still just one measly one remaining tomorrow morning! |
