I don't think that it's the after effects of malaria.
I always take Malarone when in West Africa because I don't fancy having it whether malaria has lasting effects or not.
My mate has had it 3 or 4 times because he doesn't like the side effects of the drugs. No lasting effects by all accounts, but it's not a very nice thing to have.
Not for me, but I don't think you can blame bad form on Malaria.
I normally take Malarone because it has few if any side effects, but as you say, it is expensive. Doxycycline is as cheap as chips, but it makes you sensitive to sunlight and prone to sunburn. Not ideal in the tropics. Lariam (mefloquine) is really nasty stuff and messes with you mentally. It has made many people suicidal. I'd rather have malaria than take that.
I don't know why Bony wouldn't have taken Malarone given his profession and the value of his health and fitness to his employer. I'd want the club to ask him to take it when he's back home. Saying that, most of my friends and colleagues in Liberia don't bother to take anything. Those who live in-country generally don't. Most have had malaria numerous times. I don't particularly fancy it, so I still take the pills. Ebola was the really scary one for me, though, and I was only there for the end days of the crisis.
I would like to sign one of Hull's best players simply because I remember being tremendously pissed off down the Liberty when their fans sang "City of culture - we know what we are" after Swansea missed out on it. Very childish of me.
Maybe have a day in Utrecht seeing as you'll be there from Thursday to Sunday. Saying that, I got caught on the South-North train after a conference on a Saturday when Ajax were playing. Anybody with mild claustrophobia would have a fit.
Going by what I can see on twitter, the stadium is getting a lot of love from Spain/Latin America but the pitch is getting the opposite. I can see why. It's had problems from the start.
I watched it in rural Liberia using a VSAT internet connection. Luckily it held out until the 90th minute before cutting off. I had a tense 10 minutes waiting to see if we'd held on! Having a couple of Club Beers to celebrate. It's in our hands now.
I'm not a valley boy personally. Just a normal Swansea bloke with quite a bit of experience working in Africa. Not interested in who might win a scrap between a Zimbabwean and a "townie". I just know that I won't be supporting Zimbabwe if he's in their corner.
That's Brian Mujati, mate. Recently (January) signed for the Ospreys. Played for South Africa, but born in Zimbabwe. Having seen the video, he seems quite conceited and not very likeable. I won't be subscribing.
My old man had some gents from Crofty do granite worktops. Measure, cut, fit with no hassle. Very happy with them. I'm assuming it was this company because I doubt there are many granite specialists in Crofty:
