Well it looks like being a brief spell in the Premiership

We might not be one of the biggest clubs unlike some of the rest, but one day you’ll see we will become the best.

Was a very good cup final I thought. The referee announcing the VAR decision on loud speaker was great, though the decision was easy and still took 3 mins

I find this charge towards linking AH with Reform to be a bit odd. They are extremely opposed and any Reform civnat would never support the collectivised ethno nationalist ideals of AH.

Reform voters love to rely upon the World War Two historical analysis. Here, disrespect to Churchill is seen as killing your own country. The Nazi is, therefore, their ultimate enemy; otherwise what did Churchill fight for and against?

Is the Nazi, and therefore Hitler himself, not the Reform "patriot's" (quoted as I dislike the word) main antagonist?

Anyone in Reform who likes AH is surely either an infultrator, akin to the 1980s Trotskyists in Labour, or are simply unwise as to which party they're in. This last point I admit is a possibility.

The Kingsland and Chapel are yet to be fully blessed by atmosphere.

Perhaps a Kingsland, much like the old East (?), could be in favour with the minorities. I use minorities as what the masses want is inevitably going to turn to s***. The beauty of this is we customise our future without the club. Padded seats and a half way line view could be in our hands, especially useful for half time watches of Netflix on one's phone.

Sadly they were nicked for a mass brawl against Spurs.

I'm pondering whether to get a Season Depression.

Are people staying in the Northam? Thinking of moving to the Chapel next to the skates? Itchen North for nostalgia and to outsing the Tonkas and Seals?

I may join you (probably not).

With Ramsdale having a relegation release clause, I doubt the fee will budge too far. We’ll probably just break even.

Just seen the first pictures and it looks very odd. Not a toilet bowl like Portsmouth’s Fratton on the sea, more like a UFO.

Also, Russia and Ukraine are both ranked similarly in terms of the democracy index: both are seen as “hybrid regimes.” This was their marking as late as 2021.

Hybrid Regimes are seen as having issues with:
- Fair Elections
- Freedom of the press
- Rule of law
- Political participation

You’ve just changed the argument. I’m not saying Farage didn’t win votes from that crowd. It was you who said Farage presented it as a nationalist and isolationist project, which, as i’ve said, he didn’t. His argument externally was international trade with partners he felt were cut off by the EU; the EU, he claimed, were protectionist.

The justification, as I alluded to in the previous post, is war; war is apparently patriotic. Now fight Russia, or you don’t get patriotic points.

Also, if we’re going on what Farage thinks, he sold Brexit as international rather than nationalistic. He wanted the free trade with Europe, with America, and with the world. Just not the political union. Of course it hasn’t come out like this, but this is what he supposedly thought.

Maybe, but everyone is subservient to something. If it’s isn’t either of these things, it’s something else. You just don’t realise it.

It depends what you mean by patriotism. If it’s love of one’s country, then Starmer’s own domestic decision making would show he doesn’t care very much about his own.

If it’s the much broader definition of patriotism: defending a nation’s self interest, who is it defining these interests?

Patriotism is easily manipulated. WW1 was fought for “patriotism”, but this wasn’t the reality - just look at the propaganda in any war museum guilt tripping the poor people.

Sir, you literally have zero arguing points. It’s just abuse after abuse. I don’t see you as stupid for having a differing opinion. But it’s tiring. Have a good day.

But I dislike Putin: a dictator whose army has committed war crimes. I merely disagree with the narrative of how the war began and want peace to stop the millions dying out there.
