What do we think his goal celebration will be if he does one day score for us? It can't be too nonchalant because it would look absurd. But it cant be too frivolous, pretending to be airplane or something. Perhaps a primal scream, like an on pitch exorcism, an emotional outpouring like Stuart Pearce after his penalty in 96? |

Too late on a school night for me, fully expect to wake up to news of our glorious renaissance, and tales of Celar's cooly taken second goal. 😎 |

I was strongly of the view Madsen should have taken it given the dire circumstances we're in, but i understand the counterargument and it isn't about charity or sentiment, it's about taking a calculated risk in the hope it kick starts some goal scoring form for our only striker [Post edited 26 Nov 11:03]

Hmm... Sounds like you're running a shadow board for a select few, Loftier For Words, specialising in infrequent but painstakingly reasonable long-form posts. |

You're welcome 😉 It's not a perfect solution to making your feed purely QPR related because obviously everyone posts about other things too, but it was a good way to follow match related comment during and after the game on Saturday |

Some people seem to be making the argument that if you sign a contract as a coach with the knowledge that the club signs players with a model that involves the CEO/DOF, their analytics and recruitment team etc then you don't have a leg to stand on when it doesn't work out. But the point isn't that the club has this recruitment model -- all clubs have this approach or similar these days. The point is that the specific signings that have been made this summer have largely turned out to be poor, and the argument beinf made is that this is a big contribution to poor results. Other clubs with the same approach to player recruitment have been far more successful. |

He also taught that there is an end to suffering, through the noble eightfold path, and that the first step is Right View. The second is Right Director of Football |

Agree he seems a lot more relaxed than of late. Wonder if there have been talks over the break and he has been assured of his job, recognition of circumstances outside his control etc? |
