Congratulations to RamZone on its 15th Birthday. I've been a member of the team for about 12 years now although the last few years I have contributed very little because like Arild I find my interest in DCFC at an all time low - and apart from that I have been too busy travelling the world!
Arild was a fantastic editor but it took over his life and then Dan J came along and the handover was very smooth.
Many congratulations to Arild on his impending marriage to the lovely Evelyn next year - and I hope to be in Norway for the European side of the wedding :-)

I feel exactly the same and have given up my seat (only as far as my husband but still....)
The owners seem far removed from the 'average fan' here in Derby and they see it as running a business rather than a passion. I'm sure it can be run as both.
There's too much concern about selling us merchandise. Why on earth would I want to buy a shirt with the names of one of these journeymen on it? People buy shirts with the names of players they idolise on....and the only one I ever had and probably ever will have was a 6 Stimac shirt.
Frankly the performances over the last few seasons have been abject rubbish and I am not prepared to waste money on it anymore. There are other things to do on Saturdays and whilst I listen if I can it's no longer a very major part of my life.
I'll always be a Derby fan - but I won't be a gullible one podding out for watching 3rd rate players. |

It's like a domestic violence victim asking the court not to proceed with the case.....(for information that doesn't work. The case proceeds with or without them, evidence *at the time* is used) |

Oliver has been on BBC 24 News & Sky News all day today giving his views on the mood among the England fans and what Capello should do next (probably start packing his suitcase for home)
Tomorrow he is doing a cage dive among white sharks before they set off along the Garden Route for Port Elizabeth & the game at Nelson Mandela Bay on Wednesday.
Even if England are out he has tickets for all the games up to the 1/4 Finals |
