I genuinely think you are wrong James. After the free fall we have had this past 4 years everybody wanted Jim to do well. He has been a big servant to this club. The fan base is now polarised by his approach to the game. It's not enjoyable to watch most of the time. But sacking him now isn't the answer. Even he will need to reflect on last night's performance and change his approach

Did you miss the Tottenham game there? The snow blizzard and the farce of the VAR tests. Would love us to go again - would make up for the feeling of despondency after our slide from League One.
That would be true if we were still in August. But having listened to Camerons interviews since, they have ramped up the budget for Jim to allow him to have cover when there have been injuries. We have had more players through our team than almost any other National League club. You don't achieve that without a decent budget. We have much bigger budgets than Gateshead, Halifax and I suspect Altrincham. We have higher game revenues than all three of these clubs. The budgets have been sufficient to hold a play-off place. Just watching the games and seeing how we drop points show you we should be higher up the table. Please don't make excuses for the position we are in - its our own doing
I just saw that the special non league day promotion of a fiver for todays game ends at 1pm. Its £20 thereafter. So if you are planning on going - buy your ticket online before 1pm.
I think we had 18 corners - certainly the commentators went past 15 as East was replaced. Some feat to get that many corners and struggle to make a way through. Boston defended well and broke quickly when we had pushed forward.
Credit to Boston. They have been on form and none of us expected this to be an easy game. Not bad for part time footballers who have had the carrot of full time next season dangled in front of them. It helps that they now have a very experienced League Two manager in charge - he had certainly worked out to nullify us. Although McNulty gave him a head start with his selections.
I don't disagree - but I don't see it as hate but more one of frustration. We are so pedestrian across the back again and Boston are loving it. Lets hope Jim shows a bit of a backbone and tells them how it is at half time so we can change the temp in the second half.
It's sad to say, but I agree. The writing was on the wall when EEL was skinned twice in the early minutes of the game He has been a great servant but he is too slow for this team.
I see that Boston have sold two coaches for travel to the match tonight. I know Dale paid for one as a gesture following the double postponements. But nonetheless two coaches on a Tuesday night is better than many clubs closer to home. They are fighting for their lives to stay in this league and have had some good results recently. We need to play our game and get at them from the off, but show them the respect they deserve. I don't think this will be a walkover at all.
Jim said that Ryan had a medical incident as they were about to leave Spotland and it shook everybody up. Seems he has had tests this afternoon and he is okay. Hope he gets well soon.
A decent point in the end. Pity we switched off defensively for their goal. I think Burger as the man late to react - but he isn't the tallest of lads. No disgrace from Dale and hopefully we can rest and go again midweek.
ps - flat cap Joe is off to watch the ladies. I bet he is. After walking his whippet
Yes very pleased with our attacking play. Owdum looked a bit shell shocked after we scored and our defence has kept them out. Could have had 2 or 3, but happy to be winning on what is a very bobbly pitch (did they really spend £1m of tax payers money on that). Flat cap Joe wants us to be booked after every tackle - I think the ref has been good so far.
Sadly there is no picture. The commentary is indeed amateurish. We played for a full 4 minutes and they are shocked we score because it was a typical example of a side not doing anything then getting a break. Its 4 minutes FFS.
I see that Mellon is getting his excuses lined up for Saturday. Apparently the £1m council funded pitch isn't playing well and is bobbly now the rugby has started. He wasn't happy with it on Tuesday.
The problem at Accrington started when they failed to add the agreed noise insulation to their new building. Self inflicted really and now the locals see it as open house to complain about everything
