I'm a very reluctant poster as i usually hide in the shadows and read peoples views, feeling my opinion dosen't really count for much. I've supported Swansea for over 20 years, was a Vetch season-ticket holder until i was around 14 and this year (due to a change to employment), i have been able to buy a season ticket and can i just say, what a draining experience. WHAT A LOAD OF COMPLETE BOLLOCKS... You can see the club in rotten to the core. The performances on the pitch just seem to mirror the empathy seen in supporters who are just glad to be part of this 'best league in the world hysteria bullshit' when in actual fact you can see we are heading towards a shitstorm. Nobody is getting angry, nobody is asking the questions and the silence coming from the club is deafening. You have the owners who refuse to answer questions and blocking people on twitter at the mere mention of issues relating to swans, you have JVZ taking the absolute piss out the club and honestly, i have no idea how some of the ex-directors are still able to walk through the lounges without getting abuse. Last season we were all suckered in by the change in fortunes towards to tail end of the season but what exactly has changed? We made a profit of circa 30+ million in the summer when we were all crying out for a complete overhaul of the squad, yet days after escaping relegation PC came out and said we were just a few recruits off having a good squad. The warning signs were there then!! We sold our best two players in Siggy and Llorente and bought in Bony to replace the latter - where there is an outstanding legal issue over his transfer. The list goes on and on and on. You honestly couldn't make it up. It is our duty as fans to stand up for the club, just like we did when Petty took over. The media will pick up the noise, but its our duty to provide that noise to begin with. Lets get a meeting going before BHA and show how these greedy American owners are nothing but money-grabbing vermin who are asset-stripping this club and see us purely as a business; they do not give a f**k about Swansea City - they never will. Time for the Trust to start making noises because at this rate, i dread to think of where we are going to be in 5 years. If anything does come about in relation to protests then count me in, because i am sick to death of all this dodgy bullshit that is going on at our football club. |

This is the kind of money we will have to pay if we are to be competitive in this league. Haven't put our hands in our pocket thus far and look at the position we're in. Brady is also only 24 so has years of football left in him. |

| Forum Thread | Ivor Allchurch - Historical research at 10:41 16 Dec 2015
Hi all, I am a third-year History student at Swansea University and I am researching into the significance of Ivor Allchurch and why he is considered an important historical figure to study. In our rich history how is Ivor more deserving to have himself placed at the front of the Liberty? Would appreciate it greatly if anybody can kindly spare a few thoughts on the 'Legendary Golden Boy' |

Anybody else excited about the prospect of playing with a decently rated swans team? Surely E.A have sat up and noticed especially with our league cup win next year? Who are all you guys looking forward to playing with? Surely Barcelona are the team to beat now the Neymar on board |
