The only good thing is the game is pretty much right away and Marti has said we like playing quickly after a loss to try and put things right for the fans.
He also appears to love Fox (in interviews he speaks highly of him )so I dont expect him to be booted off the squad regardless of his shocking performances. |

Excellent post HammersmithR it was the first thing that struck me how the stadium is basically landlocked on all sides and looks like it was dropped into a housing estate .
One view has a corner of LR actually out in the road it would be hard to get that design passed in 2024 lol.
Not a sign of parking either such a rare sight compared to the ariel shots of pretty much every stadium /dome /arena in the US where the parking lot dwarfs the actual pitch .
I hope the guys who made the video check out LFW and see all the nice comments it was a great clip I loved it and we won of course  |

Like to see a new poster taking the plunge and starting the match thread but not in love with your prediction lol.
Seriously I just posted last week a new QPR have emerged like falling behind and not losing or going ahead and actually pulling away and winning .
How ever that crashed and burned in Wales so not exactly sure what to expect here .
Its been flogged to death but 3 out of the last 4 games we would have been better sitting in the dressing room instead of playing the first half and that has to change and right now.
I think we can get a draw here and it would take away that bitter pill taste we just swallowed .

That is a bit worrying to read hope you feel better soon nothing good about chest/lung infections.
Makes it even more impressive that you pump out so many articles while feeling lousy I would not even switch on the laptop if I was that much under the weather .

Over in England, Scotland, Wales ,NI and ROI its probably Christmas feast time so enjoy and be warm and happy and healthy.
Over here in America its breakfast time so the gifts are being opened over coffee bacon and eggs .
No idea whats happening in Australia,New Zeland or Japan but Happy Christmas to everybody who loves QPR and looking forward to tomorrow and the rest of the year |

Like we mentioned before Cook was not going down that hard unless something snapped and Marti was only guessing I suspect. If he had the scan on Sunday they already know so no news is bad news in this case I suspect .
Either way he will be out for a while and his leadership will be badly missed plus his ability to block goalbound shots is second to none and has saved us multiple times .
We need JCS back to his best right away he can fill that role and he is not afraid to bark at officials and opposing players which we need badly |

Bad grammer from me I am not great at typing obviously. If everybody in QPR land suspectits a bad injury yet Marti said he thinks its a soft tissue we all hope Marti is correct and its weeks not months out.He also said the tests on Sunday would shed light on it . |

There is 1 poster on this thread that has been unrelenting all season with his attacks on Smyth like he offended him personally and its way OTT.
Now PS is not only one of the first names on the starting 11 (very durable player despite all the knocks ) he is starting to dominate and make way better choices in the danger areas.
Cutting inside to his left and shooting used to mean danger to fans in the top row of the stand but he nearly scored a stunner yesterday and had another 1 close one last game
Also he was right there to hammer home that rebound which would have been the winner except for the keeper and goaline tech denied us.
He has some engine fair play to him and its vital he stays injury free |

Compared to even a week ago he was a different player and much more agressive plus moved the ball on multiple times before that superb assist .
Also forced the keeper into a great save who then saved a sure goal from Paul Smyth. Did anybody see a clear replay it sure looked over the line to me.We do have goaline tech but that must have been so close |

Soft tissue issue in the sole of his foot according to Marti. There is no way Cook is going down like he was shot in that location for a soft tissue injury in his feet. It looked like a tendon snap either hamstring or the career threatening achilles but hopefully its soft issue .
You cannot possibly replace his leadership and experience but we do have cover back there at least .

Good point its just the experience factor Frey brings knowing where to be and smell that goal chance.
Koli got punished all day without any protection and while he protested a few times it was to no avail.
Frey will fight and claw much better IMO but lacks the speed and drive of Koli .
We can finally sigh with relief there is some goals in this team thank Christ |

Well I fcuked myself again by tearing up my $100 bet on us getting into the playoffs when we were 5 points adrift .
However with strong players coming back into fitness and the younger players starting to perform we could keep moving up to the top 10 going off our second half today .
Of course we cannot afford Nardi, Dunne, Field or anyone else starting go down with injuries its been an ugly season so far with those including Steve Cook |

Can you explain our recent first half performances they were pretty dire yet we seem to now have the ability to pull out draws and wins even from behind .
I really liked what I saw from Chair he looked miles away from last week and if he strikes form and Frey stays healthy we could keep moving up the table .
Gutted for Cook he was the heart of that team all season through ups and downs it was sickening to see him crumble like that.Fair play to him for walking off with assistance that was powerful image and the fans really responded |

One of the only players we could not afford to lose and not just the cruel injury but giving up the goal rubs salt into the wound .Best wishes to SC its a year out at least I fear .
3 straight games including 2 at home and we play the first half sleepwalking and looking like we never played together before FFS.
2 jimmy Dunne headers (one he should have scored ) is all we have its not close to good enough.
Why keep booting the ball up to Koli its a waste of time and what a wan*er the ref is giving him zero protection
We can still salvage this but Frey needs to be on and Chair too . |

Fair play to you Disco even in rough times you manage to make us laugh its a great testement to you.

As for the doorbell its well worth the energy to install but be warned it lets everybody know when you leave and arrive home I got caught a few times sneaking in

We are so hard to predict right now but 2 exciting things are happening despite out threadbare squad.Once we take the lead we pull away and win which is normal for most teams except us of course.More important like last weekend falling behind would have normally meant 3 or 4 nothing loss but we fought back and drew and could have won to be fair .
I see us taking the lead here and winning with another clean sheet 2-0 |

There is zero chance he will get either Wolves or Southampton IMO they are both desperate to survive and their fans will demand a big name |
