I for one am delighted with how things have gone since June....when we had the Agent saga I think we'd have all been chuffed to still have ML, Ash, Michu still here plus the bodies we have brought in.
Once they all get used to playing together I think we will be a force, fixtures have done us no favours but we all saw what happened when we played our first real competitor
I don't know what some people expect to be honest - cloud cuckoo land springs to mind

Iv supported swansea for 10 years mate, its just my opinion. Bony has done nothing to suggest he is worth the 14 mil we paid for him, the goals in europe were pretty much put on a plate for him against poor teams. | | | |

Whatever you say. His headed goal was hardly laid on a plate and what about his goal against united? He also cost £12m, not £14m.

As others have said, the biggest bonus for us in this transfer window is that we have kept our prize assets in Michu, Williams and Vorm.
Yes I would have liked to have got a Lukaku or Borini, but who knows, maybe we did have a go at signing them but couldn't agree on a fee.
As for Alvaro, I dont know enough about him to comment, but he has worked with ML before, so I'm sure Laudrup is well aware of his attributes and his short comings, but of course he new the same about Schecter and we all know how that one worked out.
All in all it's been a good week for us, and I will be looking forward to welcome Alvaro to the Liberty in the hope that he fulfills his potential under the guidance of Mr Laudrup.
So lets all be thankfull for what we've got, not for what we wished for, and just ignore the trolls and scummers coming on here trying to undermine our fantastic achievements over the last couple of years. |  |

What did you expect Bony to do in the few games he has played beside scoring 4 goals in 6 matches?
This is not football manager 2013 and it's pretty obvious to me looking at Bony playing that this guy is levels above our former forwards, both in finishing and positioning and he seems to link up ok with the midfield despite only playing for a short time.
What do you suggest he should have done in his first 6 matches to live up to the 12m price? |  | | |

My opinion is that your opinion is wrong. Bony has scored 4 goals in 6 matches. He is credited for 3. But the own goal against Petrolul was really his goal. He has scored the only goal against a top team so far. Defenders are glued to him like flypaper creating acres of space for the wingers. He's linking up with Michu better than Neymar has managed to do with Messi so far. And honestly, if you thought a striker could go from the Dutch Eredivisie to the EPL and become a scoring sensation within the first month, you need a serious reality check.
Let's compare with some other strikers this season:
Edinson Cavani: 2 goals in 4 games
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 1 goal in 4 games
Romelu Lukaku: 0 goals in 6 games
Sergio Aguedo: 1 goal in 2 games
Papiss Demba Cisse: 0 goals in 3 games

I know what I think.
We won't know if Bony is a success or failure til season's end. We kept our prized assets. Other players (Shelvey, Pozuelo, Amat) look like very good acquisitions. Vazquez looks like he has huge potential.
