Appreciate this in not QPR but sorry to hear about the sad passing of the West Ham midfielder Ronnie Boyce. I knew him and his wife Dawn as they were friends of my parents and I can honestly say he was one of the nicest people I have ever known. Very underrated player.
RIP Ronnie

"Ticker" Boyce I think was complimentary nickname, very good player in a team who on their day were a fair old side

Apologies if I'm wrong about nickname.

"Ticker" because he was the heartbeat of the team.

According to Wikipedia, he had a coaching role at QPR (amongst others) in the 90’s.

I thought I recognised the name and remembered this - he scored a worldie volley back from a goal kick back in 1970

What a goal. To think the teams moan about conditions these days. RIP Ronnie

Ahhh no... RIP Ticker.

One of East Ham's favoured sons.

Our Ray Jones was another.

This fellow Mannor of Ham remembers you both with respect and fondess this quiet Sunday morning.

Don't need no politicians to tell me things I shouldn't be, Neither no opticians to tell me what I oughta see.
