Ticket sales v Watford 12:07 - Nov 4 with 1765 views | builthjack | Very low. I know we have a lot of fans who have been spoiled , and cant be bothered to get up off their backsides to follow their old team. But surely the club should be doing something to fill the empty seats. At the moment I cant see more that 12 - 13000 attending. Thats awful this day and age. Other Cities (except Cardiff) put us to shame. There must be someone in the club who sees this. Do tickets at £5 adults and £1 for kids. Get them in.

Ticket sales v Watford on 12:20 - Nov 4 with 1559 views | Whiterockin | Firework night will hit the gate. Plus the last home game it was £1 for children and the South was quite full for a change. About 13,000 is where we currently are, there needs to be a major reset from the club if they want to start the momentum needed to engage the supporters again. Currently the majority are absolutely peed off with the way the club is being run.

They dont seem to have a clue WR. Anyone with marketing skills would get thousands more coming in through the gates. Its as if they want to keep the crowd away.

They have a totally different view of the "fan experience" fan parks are rubbish in the rain, who wants fireworks when you have to faff about to get served at half time and don't start me on cashless stadium. Utterly clueless. The chairman goes to away games and sits in the away end surely he can see the difference.

Totally agree about the services provided within the stadium over priced drink and food ripping off fans, the service ion the East stand concourse is so appalling vitual no-one is looking to get refreshment at half time, which in itself has to affect the clubs profits, so let's have another price hike again! Marketing waving money bye bye. Almost as low as the crowds in the first season the stadium was opened.

Ticket sales v Watford on 14:28 - Nov 4 with 1392 views | Scotia | An 8pm Kick off on Guy Fawkes night was a stupid idea, although probably not down to the club. Blame Sky and the EFL I suppose. Most people won't get home til after 10:30 and it's a school night. I couldn't see many parents taking kids even if it was free.
Ticket sales v Watford on 16:41 - Nov 4 with 1288 views | nantywatcher | Looking around the stadium against Millwall I'd be surprised if the "true" attendance was much more than 10,000 - empty seats absolutely everywhere.
Ticket sales v Watford on 17:03 - Nov 4 with 1258 views | SullutaCreturned | Well we won't be there. One of the dogs is petrified of fireworks and only settles for me. My youngest has football training 6 til 7 then it's teatime, shower and I probably won't even watch because I'll be off to be by 8.30. The owners ARE clueless, we know this. Keep treating people like mugs and eventually the mugs walk away. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

We are a fickle lot. I would rather be there than not be there. It’s our team. I do wonder how some clubs have similar attendances to when they were in the Premier League.

I don’t know if you are saying that they should reduce ticket prices because they’re not selling or not but concessions like these need to be done well in advance. That said it’s Niv 5th so incentives should have been put in place some time ago.

It's Leeds home in a couple of weeks there should have been a double ticket package. [Post edited 4 Nov 19:41]

Thing is when you are look at a long drive after work, and then a long drive home. I know one guy who does a six hundred mile round trip who is a season ticket holder. And numerous others as well. That’s a huge commitment. They all work, so a 2am to 4am arrival at home time for some these days is just too much. I don’t blame those who are having a sabbatical for now, although nearly most will return after the international break.

I wouldn’t expect people to drive hundreds of miles for a midweeker. I may be mad, but am leaving for work at 6am, as I am up in Shrewsbury/ Telford today, so that I can get back for the game. The passion is still there. I envy clubs like Norwich, Ipswich, etc who seem to keep their fan base even when struggling. Bradford average about 17000 in League 2. A City the size of Swansea, with the catchment area, should be getting better crowds than we do. The club don’t help, as the marketing is awful. They need someone in to sort it. The East will be there tonight, packed as usual. Passionate, loud, and proud. Thank goodness for them.

the thing is Builthy we attracted a lot of new fans when we moved from the Vetch...remember our average gate back then. Robertos football and then the PL brougjt more slowly a lot of these new fans have drifted away....other long term fans are now older and do not attend. Before I retired i would often give the m8dweek evrning games a miss...cant be there tonight as im in foreign climes.... As was said its bonfire night too....Yes I agree the clyb couldndo more but Sky have a lot to answer for for the dwindling of crowds....especially night games some would prefer to sit in the warm comfort of their iwn home or diwn the pub .....

Ticket sales v Watford on 11:23 - Nov 5 with 627 views | Landore_Jack | Obviously its bonfire night so I understand why the crowd would be low. However, on a general note I know lots of people who do not bother attending games. Main reasons: 1. The football is rubbish especially under Martin, Duff and Williams. 2. There is a disconnect between the owners and the fans. 3. Good players not being replaced. Too many poor players. The recruitment issue has been big factor for a number of seasons.

Bradford City took a short term hit for long term gain. From memory they reduced entrance fees to a fiver for a season ? Got their fanbase back and the gains are there for all to see.

I fall into that category, especially points 1 and 2. I have seen far worse players during my close to 40 years as an ST holder before I gave it up two seasons ago. In addition, midweek fixtures & travel for those who live outside Swansea added to those points is not a good mix. I pick and choose my games now, and it would take a massive upturn in entertainment to make me an ST holder again.

I won't be there tonight, the first match for me to miss this season, for none of the above reasons though.
