Altrincham Away 08:17 - Jan 22 with 12476 views | DaleDamo | First time to Altrincham tomorrow. Wheres gonna be best for pre match pint? Also what do you think away attendance will be?
Altrincham Away on 11:49 - Jan 22 with 9613 views | ChaffRAFC | Reckon it will be a new ground for a lot of people, certainly is for me. The following link might be a good tool for information about the ground and where to drink, park etc: https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/conference/conference-north/altrincham-m Because of the short distance and the lack of games for a couple of weeks might see a fair few travel over, can we get over 1000?

Don't forget it's live on tele. when trying to predict an away following.

Altrincham Away on 13:43 - Jan 22 with 9360 views | chuckleberry | No plans to show it in the Ratcliffe, the Trust did consider it but it’s a short distance to travel. Weather also predicted to be horrendous tomorrow night and the uncovered away end might be a factor!

Not as bad as first feared at the moment, only a 30% chance of rain now from 8pm which goes down by the hour afterwards.

Altrincham Away on 19:12 - Jan 23 with 7199 views | meeee | Saturday the 10th of Febuary appears to be a free date for both teams. I assume that's an FA Trophy weekend so it would be ideal if we could play the game on that date
Altrincham Away on 19:52 - Jan 23 with 7062 views | EllDale | That would be good but I suppose that Altrincham will have to consult GMP and I’m not sure how much notice they require these days. A Saturday could a great away day a la Halifax. Train or tram to Victoria then tram to Altrincham with a drink in Manchester before and afterwards!
Altrincham Away on 20:04 - Jan 23 with 7019 views | EllDale | The curious thing is that by my reckoning if Halifax and Aldershot don’t win tonight then Dale will still be in a playoff place. Sorry Football Gods.

Fylde already 2-0 up against Halifax, the first courtesy of Charman, and takes them out of the drop zone (for the time being)

It would be a poor do if GMP can't manage a crowd of around 3,000 at Altrincham with about 18 days' notice!

Altrincham Away on 21:34 - Jan 23 with 6778 views | EllDale | Agreed but I think it depends what other games are on in the area. Or which groups of fans are potentially at the city’s railway stations at the same time.

Probably just as many as on most Saturdays in the season!

Altrincham Away on 21:48 - Jan 23 with 6712 views | RotherhamDale | Sounds daft but a postponement isn't the worst thing. Horrific weather which would just turn the game into a shitshow, and it gives us another few days to get a player or two fit. We've had a winter break!

Both games finish as draws; we stay in a playoff spot The advantage of games in hand the other teams have had whilst we were "resting" has all but disappeared [Post edited 23 Jan 21:50]

Mitchell last played on November 23rd and he was out for 8 weeks, so there is a chance he will be involved on Saturday

& this is what gets my goat. GMP can accommodate Prem games, even city v united derbies at seemingly any time to suit the whims of tv but apparently can’t manage to police a dale v owdum game at 3pm!!

Absolutely. It will be the equivalent of 1 section at old Trafford with 90%+ having no intention of causing any bother. A Saturday game v another Tuesday evening ensures a better crowd & atmosphere. No reason this can’t go ahead. EDIT: Unless they put the Barnet game there instead !!!! Edit the Edit. No the Barnet game isn’t on then, my error. No reason the Altie game can’t go ahead [Post edited 24 Jan 18:39]
