All well and good upping the spending but I read that the Royal Marines for example are just
5,500 in number which is is not enough to field a brigade. The intake for 2022/3 Intake for both the Navy and the Marines dropped by 22.1 per cent and last week it was announced "that the Navy has so few sailors that it has had to decommission two warships to staff its new class of frigates."
Not for a moment would I want to send any of my grandkids into a war zone but without the generation of today volunteering to enlist then what next .
