I have lost track of the spree of signings M&T have made over recent days and weeks. One could be forgiven for thinking they have a more expansive budget than some clubs playing at League Two level.
Which begs the question ....who on earth is funding operations at Park Drive?
After suffering a string of humiliating defeats the boot is well and truly on the other foot after signing virtually a new squad at break neck speed.
With the apparent recent investment M&T should have their sites set on The Conference South at the very least.
That could make for a very interesting local football scene .
After Wayne Brown there was Paul Abrahams, then there was Adam Flint, next was Peter Taylor, then possibly Liam Bailey, then Jamie Cureton, followed by Dave Huzzey followed by Brett Munyard and next ....? .
I may have this out of order and possibly missed another appointment somewhere.
The activity has been packed into two seasons and a few months.
The turnover in players is as manic as that of Head Coach.
I wonder if the new ownership bid will get to the finishing line.
Next M&T Manager will be full time! - so will a number of others joining the club, this will include five or six full time players, and several other positions.
This really will be a 'Makeover' with a capital 'M'.
This will have to take M&T to National League South to make the master plan worthwhile.

I've been tracking this today.
The prospective new owners are effectively buying two separate entities, the stadium and surrounding premises and land from Robbie Cowling, and Maldon & Tiptree F.C. from Richard Cowling.
Add into the mix that they are currently considering employing Mitchell Cowling in the capacity as a Sporting Director - or some such term, pursuing one of the most ambitious transitions in a football club at this level ever attempted in the U.K., l wonder if this may pave the way for something similar at Colchester United?
I don't think the new guys are over impressed with the current state of the club.
They have been contacted by a number of people who have virtually pleaded with them not to be associated with certain individuals currently involved with the club.
I am not one of those people, but l would advise a clean break from the current ownership and their family members.
At least the new owners will look elsewhere for loan players other than just from Colchester United.
I'm sure the news has filtered through to members of the media who M&T have offered the position of Manager to, but l doubt they will mention the length of deal or the salary involved.
It is the most ever at this level l believe.
In addition to this there are some interesting players being tagged!

And quite a bit more. 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
I've got a hotline through to the nerve centre on this one.....highly entertaining.
I am all for ambition and this is ticking the boxes.
These guys are not just thinking outside of the box - they are off the pitch!
I don't think they can announce this until the ownership of the club is over the line - this is the Richard Cowling element.
Unless they have agreed something in advance?
Maldon being located in the triangle between Colchester, Chelmsford and Southend may become a more prominent place on the football map than it has been hitherto.
My initial 'Makeover' thread title has been completely eclipsed by what is coming.
Although l am in touch with the local media l think it's best for the news to be released after an official statement from Drewitt - Barlow and Co.
They do have some refreshing and innovative ideas and l am looking forward to seeing this thing unfold.
