What the hell is going on at Boro? 3-0 down at home to Cardiff at half-time. Wilder on borrowed time potentially?

Poll: And it's hi ho

Penny for the thoughts of Sheff Utd fans and Paul Heckingbottom.

Going into a home banker v Blackpool off the back of 1pt from 9. 2-0 up, lovely jubbly. Throw it away and go 3-2 down, Blackpool down to 9 men for the last 10min, Brewster misses an 88th min penalty before a 98th min equaliser.

Sander Berge out til after the WC

And Blackburn go to the top & Luton into third.

Maybe Saturday’s game against Luton was a turning point in our season? If we lose tomorrow will be interested to see the response.

Response?

"Ca-taff-trophe as Rangers lose two-in-a-row"

Blackburn top and they’ve lost nearly half their games. Crazy league!

Top of the league Blackburn have lost more games than most the bottom half including bottom of the league Coventry.

I think that MB will have learnt more about his squad / team from Luton than any other game this season.

Tonight’s reaction will certainly be interesting.

Blackburn top and Burnley second will surely be generating some ‘top bantz’ in east Lancs.

Some really weird anomalies in this early table. Blackburn being top with seven defeats, Preston ninth with the worst goals scored in the league, Burnley second with half of their games finishing 1-1, Coventry with uber games in hand. So strange.

Hate to say it but I think Luton go one better this season.

Got to laugh at the fact the team who are top have lost more games than the team who are second have won

I thought Preston made some good signings in the summer, they are starting to get going now.

Swansea as well starting to turn boring 0-0's into wins, they seem a lot more direct this season

Is genuinley most open it's been for a while, no outstanding team this season

I usually agree with most of what you write Joe, but like 'Must win' , I feel 'turning point' is a very over used phrase - in a very crowded market, it has to be said!

Okay, my post was a bit over the top.

I was just reacting to Luton's win over Norwich. The championship makes it difficult to be level headed about results! It's all or nothing, feast or famine...

Fair enough, just that many said the Sheff Utd win was a 'turning point' , now we know that there are going to many many more of those over the next 7/8 months!

Right, going off line now, then off to LR.

Enjoy the game everyone, and don't forget your binoculars for the dug out/directors' box!

Wrong thread!

Think a real problem for us, is not turning defeats into at least draws more regularly. Draws at least build momentum. We tend to win a few then lose as many. My Gran always used to put us down for a draw on the Pools back in the day as well🤔🙂

"We tend to win a few then lose as many".

I think you will find that this season we have won twice as many as we have lost! Turning draws into wins is far more important than turning defeats into draws (although I would like this to happen as well).
