Seems to suggest it's 'our' players that have had call ups without naming them until squads are announced. Not sure this is good or bad for us. Gives the squad a week and a half rest but means a relentless last 4 weeks or so.
On the more mundane subject of today's results in the absence of a Dale match, can't decide whether AFC Wimbledon's late winner against Northampton was a good thing or not
On balance, and since we've still got to play Wimbledon (a), it was probably the right result

I think it was, as a point for The Cobblers would have left us five points from safety, whereas we're no worse off than we were at 3pm - and with Northampton having played a game more.
Also hearing they had missed an injury time penalty was great news.
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

A very positive performance with 2 goal saving stops without which the game would have been lost much sooner. Must have cemented his place in the squad for future internationals.

We have 2 games in hand on Northampton, but we must now get points from those games.
Wigan are away at Gillingham on Wednesday, which hopefully they will lose.

Gerry McElhinney?
Our opposition for the next x2 games will have a big say on how things pan out at the bottom. Both Portsmouth / Ipswich playing the other x5 teams currently above no less than 3 times......massive bank holiday fixtures coming up!!
