You are a very boring poster.

You take ages to say nothing.

Please try harder.

And yet again you refuse to answer direct questions, pertinent questions

It is because you have no answers, no sensible ones anyway.

You constantly spout nonsense, it's not even entertaining any more, just predicatble waffle.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Yep obviously companies would move to where the majority of their work was if they had to cross border controls or staff where working on English queries.

The tax office in Cardiff is one of the largest & does not just do Welsh peoples taxes same goes for the DVLA.

Some believe flogging water to our English friends would make up the shortfall.

Agree with the point your making about moving and crossing borders etc, a number of organisations have done that following Brexit. If Wales went Indy, they’d have go back in to the EU, I can’t see another way.

Oh the irony, you judge and cast sentence on everybody who disagrees with you, which is most of us.

I'd point out that people respond to John with civility because he can debate without being childish but it'd be lost on you.

Carry on posting what you want, the rest of us enjoy the laugh.

Maybe you will answer a direct question one day, maybe it's because you cannot understand the difference or the possible ramificatione between a brexit border with the EU and an indy border with England?

Again you bang the drum that says we would definitely rejoin the EU and another question you never answer is, whatt would Wales do while we waited for that to happen? How would Wales manage outside the Union AND outside the EU for possibly 15-20 years? You never respond to that properly, you always claim they'd pull us in uickly because......any sensible person looks at other countries and their wait and knows we would be made to wait. The EU has enough problems without taking on another financially unstable country. Until we met all the Copenhagen criteria we would have to wait.

Spot on he’s the most idiotic poster on here.

Would not work in practice as any agreement would surely cover English owned assets in Wales, the reservoirs. UK water companies already pay a water abstraction fee for Welsh water. If an independent Welsh government tried to hold England to ransome over water even that would not as the dams would simple overflow into the Rivers Severn, Wye and Dee which all flow through England anyway.
Wales could no survive unless its exports and imports could freely cross the Border to reach the major English ports either Dover or the container ports in Felixstowe, London gateway and Southampton. Wales currently does not have a deep water container port.

Wales England and Scotland have economies which are totally dependent on each other. Stronger together.

Why is Wales so poor then ?

There are no English owned assets in Wales.
Everything in Wales belongs to the people of Wales, everything from the plough to the stars.

Wales would seek a fair market rate for its water.
Nothing else is needed.

We are getting tucked up.

We only need the market rate.
We could have lower water prices in Wales and attract business that this would benefit.

Market rate treated and delivered to tap is about 1p . So market rate untreated is about 0.005p per litre. Not like killy to over estimate cost. If Wales decides to charge for water stored in dams that's are English owned the companies would refuse to pay. The dams would simply over flow into the rivers Severn Wye and Dee which flow through England and could be pumped put without even paying the current abstraction fee that is already paid.

What would happen if England started charging the market rate for specialist NHS treatment carried out in English hospitals on Weldh patients. 30,000 treated annually.

Correct the Scottish NHS is the Worst in the UK. Scotland had the best education in the UK before devolution now one of the worst in Europe. Plus drug taking is rife and so is early death from drug abuse. In some parts of Glasgow life expectancy is worse than some third world countries.

If the SNP concentrated on these issues for the next 5 years and could show they could improve them, they might have a cases to convince the majority in Scotland they were fit to govern them.
