Bournemouth’s ‘effort’ at a relegation dog-fight is the worst I can remember. They didn’t really start trying until the final 4 games. It was a pathetic show and it’s a joke that they should try to blame one decision for their own capitulation.

Was reading about how difficult it was for him to deal with his Dad having dementia. His Dad had been a steward at Villa, and his attempts to tell his Dad he had got the manager’s job at Villa were met with complete indifference by his Dad, who didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. Man. City are after Ake apparently, which surprises me. I’m not totally convinced by him.
I think they have bought really badly in the last couple of years, and are going to struggle to shift a few of their more expensive signings.
