Was slightly gutted as I was on Un De Sceaux at great prices, but when they turned the bottom of the hill and it was clear Sprinter was turning back the clock, the place erupted. Genuine chills listening to it back

We were so crap the whole game. Deserved to lose. Then from a 22 drop out Sexton does an incredible little dink, 25 phases later unreal kick pass to Earls to keep going (Nigel Owens was determined to not give us a penalty and letting the French get away with murder), and then nails it from 41 metres. We went on to win the slam. I went absolutely ballistic
Of course O'Gara did it better (with the best commentary ever)
Edit: Didn't include ROG's GS drop goal because he hit it to early and my main memory of the 09 slam was my now wife forcing me to take my head off the table as Stephen Jones lined up the kick

His final test and he goes and scores the fastest test ton ever! An utterly brutal onslaught from the man that played in 100 consecutive tests - yes, that is not a misprint, consecutive.
One more for you, an utterly incredible achievement for anyone, let alone an amateur rider on a home made bike!

Where was that track Lofty?
Bracknell sports centre, it’s been relaid since and is now spongy, Zola Budd used to train on it early in the morning when she was training for the olympics.

favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
This was astonishing. I'm not into rugby and I'm certainly not doing this to bash England but I happened to be watching this on the box as it happened. I'd never seen anyone so big be so fast! He was tossing them out of the way like ragdolls!

remember england changing their bowlers and letting them leave the field so a sub fielder come on really got under pontings skin and it worked, great ashes series.

I assume Rangers aren't required in this thread because nobody has posted the inevitable Zamora moment plus a few other so I'll start with a couple of football classics;
This is classic golf. All thigs considered Leftie winning his first major after umpteenth attempts. I remember watching the whole round at my hostel in Bolivia. So utterly deserved.*
Possibly the third time I've posted this sporting link but when everything is taken into account it is a monumental moment in sporting history. And that's from a sport that has numerous games that get decided in the final seconds. Amazing scenes;
If you don't like that then you don't like NBA Basketball...

Not great but hit me then that even your heroes and true legends cant defeat time
Holmes was Ali’s sparring partner when he was on the way up. He took liberties with Ali during that fight. Fast forward a few years.........
Holmes fought Tyson. Tyson had watched the Holmes, Ali fight many times over the years. Before the Holmes Tyson fight , Ali was introduced to the crowd in the ring. He went to Holmes’s corner and wished him good luck. Then he went to Tyson’s corner and also wished him good luck.
And Tyson looked at Ali and said..... ‘Champ, he’s gonna pay for what he did’
And Tyson proceeded to smash the granny out of Holmes. Proper order.
