Lots of FKW's on my facebook feed today, but they're not really W's. They're my friends who've never been to Anfield or maybe even England, but they support Liverpool in their way and in the only way they know how. Don't begrudge them it. They've waited long enough and you'd have to go some not to warm to Klopp.

Personally, I like the bish bash bosh of their football.

I should have rephrased that: SOME of their players are likable, which is more than can be said for the other clubs that are generally in title contention. The way Van Dijk forced his way out of Southampton was completely disrespectful, it's been a few years and I had forgotten about how messy that transfer saga was. I admit I’m biased by my one trip to Anfield, immediately after Hillsbrough. Having had a whip round for a wreath in the LSA coach on the way up, we saw home fans pointing out Rangers kids for a beating by stewards and arbitrary arrest, and stones thrown at the coach on the way out of town. Not helped by the deeply dubious sagas of Michael Shields (but we threatened someone else into confessing instead, and besides, it was only a Bulgarian who was nearly killed) and Luis T-Shirt Suarez. Fuggem, don’t care who wins the Premier League particularly, but that lot as the the nation’s sweethearts makes me queasy. I’d rather United to be honest.
