Seemed to flatter to deceive at the time even though I rated him - watching highlights of old games now he seems to be involved in almost all our goals at the time

Think we were all expecting pace which wasn’t his game at all

The overriding memory of Pablo is "always fcking injured". He doesnt seem to have that problem with Lids tho weirdly

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

When Pat Lally droped to sweeper he was outstanding.
Ronnie Rees for me,a legend on and off the pitch

Was having a drink with Ronnie Rees once and he declared (pretty much appropos of nothing) that he was "a bastard for Matt Monroe". The phrase entered my lexicon that day and is still there festering and giggling away.

I used to play in the same side as his son in the mid 80s, a real nice guy and a bloody legend, was too scared to speak to him.

I can remember Ronnie playing at home against Rotherham just after he signed in 1972, they kicked him to death.

i had many a pint with Ronnie, he was a joker, always happy, and liked to tell the story of how he scored the winner when Wales beat N Ireland incl George Best at the Vetch in 1970.

In the mid 1990's Ronnie had a massive stroke when he was in his early 50's, which greatly affected his mobility and speech and left him in a wheelchair.

The last few years he's been a resident at the Hengoed Court Care Home.

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Yes partly, but also for the look and the chant. Doesn't have to be a top player to be in this list.
Better footballer than J Moreira and several others mentioned but that's not saying much.

Thought long and hard about this, enjoyed watching Neil Robinson, Danny Bartley , Geoff Crudgington, Michu, Gylfi , but my favorite player to watch was probably the Evil Genius, would loved to have seen him in the PL.

Danny Bartley.

One the best attacking full backs I saw. Always got his cross in.

Loved watching him.

Overriding memory of Pablo is him coming on after half-time against the scum and leading us to a 3-0 victory!

I'm not sure if I can't remember, what I remembered.

I can remember being on The North Bank, when Danny Bartley scored a bicycle kick passed Geoff Crudgington, open end goal. Whether that was in my sleep, I can't remember, but I do remember that.
