RIP indeed. Although he had no lines, as such, he was a massive part of those early films.
I only recently discovered that he is distantly related to bungle from Rainbow. Both eschewed the need for clothing - although Bungle did use to wear pyjamas to bed for some reason. |  |

Not seen it yet - was tempted to wait until they're all out and then watch them all but then I'd have to avoid all media until that time so I'll probably watch them this weekend. The Andor trailer looks brilliant too.

Some decades ago my flatmate went out with the original R2D2 actor's niece.
A pleasant, quiet sort of girl called Wendy with rubber-band dreads, who you could easily picture crouched inside R2D2, so to speak, if she'd ever needed to fill in for her uncle.
