Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Personally I thought the Irish tried mixing it in the first half and we just let them. Second half we gave some back and stood up to it.

Taylor probably meant to go in hard but he obviously didn't mean to break Coleman's leg. He's not a dirty footballer, just a sh*t one

i think you'll find that it was your players who left the pitch having done some (maybe) career ending tackles! If you don't like watching contact sport, i'd suggest the Synchronised swimming season is about to start. Maybe you've just realised you are not as good as you once thought?

I was going to argue the toss with you but I like Imelda May way too much.

What ? Mods removed a picture of a football tackle, readily available on the web. Surely not. You can't be serious.

Is there a Welsh word for replay ?

I would say in my time Ireland V Wales in the rugby was usually Wales roughest game, seems like Ireland tried to mix it with Wales in the first half, don't know if anything was said at H-T but Wales gave them a bit back second half and now some Irish fans are upset.

Did the ref do enough to protect Welsh players in the first half ?

Ireland will think twice about roughing us up on return game.

There is no need for Wales to play five at the back when we are the superior team on paper and needing a win. Gunter and Taylor are the worst wingbacks in the game at this level. How the f**k does Coleman not pick Ben in his natural position. Taylor just kills all momentum of any sniff of counter attack. Coleman needs to start changing things tactically if we are to progress. Five at the back is easy to play against now.

Even when you know, you never know?

As much as I love Coleman and what he's done for Wales he's so bloody stubborn. Persisting with this awful formation. Playing Taylor as a winger, what the hell is that about.

Hopefully this ban for Taylor will result in a formation change and we won't see that useless sack of shite play for Wales again.

And I think you'll find that it was the Irish with two sly off the ball elbows in to the face of Williams and Allen that the referee spotted but went totally unpunished.
Irish whinging like feck about Coleman but totally ignore they are the ones that tried to mix it in the first place the only difference was the ref turned a blind eye to the Irish elbowing but sent off Taylor.Hypocrites.

Trouble is, to change it from wingbacks means they'd need more midfielders, or wingers or a second striker. None of which they have of a 'quality' better than gunter/tayls.

Gunter and Ben Davies full backs and put Bale and Kanu/Woodburn on the wings with Ledley, Allen and Ramsey in the middle.

Some or one?

Rambo being repeatedly smashed first half, elbows on Williams and Allen...

Scummy Irish side - then again with O'Neill and Keane involved, hardly surprising.

Oirish fans just don't seem to get the point on social media.

Coleman -> broken leg, horrendous.
Elbows -> not comparable at all.

Errm, yes they are! When the elbows were thrown, they were being thrown with deliberate intent to injure... the fact they didn't is irrelevant!

Yes it was.

You can't excuse it because of the first half incidents, which of course should have been dealt with more harshly.

I'm not buying into this defence if Taylor I'm afraid (not suggesting you are either btw).

Don't think anoyone can really defend Taylor.

The point for me is the Irish are very quick to (rightly) complain about the tackle yet very silent when it comes to condemning their own thuggish behaviour during the game.

Nobody in their right mind would defend him, I bet even Taylor today is condemming himself, the tackle with 2 players heading to each other was utterly stupid and rash, he will get what he deserves.
