17 pts to 10 has got to be the biggest margin win for years, I can't remember a win like that for either teams. On the positive side there were a lot of European rookies out there who have experienced the Ryder Cup which can only help them. | |

Europe won 18 and a half to 9 and a half in 2006 at The K Club in Ireland. Very emotional as Darran Clarke's wife had died only a few weeks prior to the event. Woosie was captain and I recall someone ran out of the crowd across the green and jumped in a lake while the match had been won but some were still playing.
