One can be forgiven and the blame can be shifted but 2 of 3 makes me think that once again we are the common factor in the f*kery.
In a choice between it being two isolated coincidences or a continuation of incredibly poor management and organisation of the club I'm leaning to colossal f**k up and considering a large part of the good will they've built came from announcing what appeared to be a professional preseason I'm concerned again. | |

I said before they left that this trip was a waste of time. After this it demonstrates that completely. Its obvious we haven't got a complete team yet and nowhere near a squad required to play all the games required in the Championship. Its likely some of the Key players that went to Italy will be elsewhere when the season starts, so what was the point? The focus of our management should be on getting the players in that we need and finalising deals for those who are leaving to give us the resources to recruit them. Going on a jolly to Italy is irrelevant and the number of games cancelled or re-organised makes us look incompetent and to finish up having to play a kick-about amongst ourselves on a rock hard pitch just completes the total joke this trip has become. There are plenty of teams we can beat 10-0 or 15-0 in Britain, so why waste valuable time and resources in Italy? Who's idea was this? |  |
