What a gutless c::t, if that had been Arsenal breaking away he wouldn't have blown his whistle, brilliant backs to the wall stuff from us fantastic effort fellas, take a bow.
He's right to the letter of the law, we were already 24 seconds over time.
If he was right to the letter of the law he should have blown at 94 minutes, but Arsenal were having an attacking throw in then so he let it go on, another another 2 seconds and we would have won.
It was actually why that rule was brought in a long time ago you would have to read the wording but I think it says something on the lines of not blowing when there is a goal scoring chance.
Its the minimum of time allocated. It also states that any threatening attacks or attacking corners or free kicks etc etc are to be allowed to proceed until a satisfactory outcome in a respectable time.
This is true
The vast majority of refs would nt dare have blown up there.
Take a look at this shough remember welshman Clive Thomas blowing up 2 seconds before the Brazillian goal was scored....ructions...

The ref was an utter utter c*nt at the end. Staggering to blow up there, might as well blow up as a player is running up to take a penalty, stupid tw*t.
Superb effort from the players, but feel bitter about the way it ended. Of course, no guarantee JDG would have scored, but would have been nice to have the chance to find out FFS.

How do you know how much time was left, he as already over by 34 secs. Monk states there was a minute to to after that, it was a gutless, spineless decision by a ref who decided arsenal would earn a point.
And the fact this was fecking years ago proves how often this doesn't happen !
Corrupt.
Its not the fact it was years ago its a fact you have a ref with no common sense who would never do it again after it going out world wide of what a stupid decision he have made.

The whole, 'the world is against us' attitude is very tiresome.

Not being pedantic, but I just had a look through the laws and didn't see anything about stopping the game. Any idea what rule etc? It was only a cursory look. Not doubting just wasn't something I was aware of so am interested.
Swansea ,being small club, are not ever going to beat Arse with the last kick of game. Anyway decision not as bad as that NOT to give Fallaini a red . Now that was corrupt

I like some others truly believe some refs are corrupt or simply cowards. TWO INSTANCES of clear reds last night at manc derby. No surprise we don't get a contentious penalty

So you weren't watching the Swans game then Perch?
To be fair to the ref at the United game, I presume he was taking pity on Man United. It sounds like City didn't have to get out of first gear to win easily.
You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

fook off mun and a very good morning. I was and just seen the manc derby highlights and the details really are worrying as it seems some clubs can get away with murder

Same to you chum.
I haven't seen anything of the United game, so I'll take your word for it. I can't believe that either are as controversial as ending the game when a player is through on goal though.
If it had been the other way around, it would be all over the media today. As it is, we'll hear barely a peep about it.
