Did we miss the 10 year anniversary of the Shaun Shanked Redemption???
Definitely not ! The only Chelsea fan in my office actually started work here on that day and it has been played to him every year to mark his anniversary. He might swear and look angry but I'm sure he enjoys it really.

Crickey, only 10 years ago yet there aren't many of those posters still on here regularly. Caught Brian, me, LBlock, daveB, WatfordR, Rs4Ever and ShotKnees on the thread, not many others though.
A great read through full of the usual optimism we all display!

LOL
On Hawksbee and Jacobs the day after the game, Hawksbee teased Jacobs by describing it as "The goal which shook the world"
A magical moment!
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

That was the most joyous game that I have ever watched on a stream with back up texting onto Loft For Words; all the event received 110 miles away from Chelscum City..... what a result!
You cannot beat pages 8 -10, sheer class - where is "Tears of a Clown" these days?
10,500 hits in one night, that's as many shots off target as SWP made in 4 seasons at QPR.
Tarrabatt (Warnock spelling) had his best game ever in a false 10, R'sWiP's first shot on target in 4 years of conmanship which flew Into the net, Hill and Derry nailing every poncy Chelscum player who received the ball; ......... and then all the homage film titles came trotting out... "Shaun's Shanked Redemption" and "One flew into the cuckoo's net" " being the two best.
Being a QPR fan is like a being vintage Bordeaux, You appreciate every tiny sip that passes your way with a doubling of pleasure every year. That game 10 years ago is up there with the League Cup Final, the play off at Wembley, and the 4 - 4 at Port Vale.

Went with my daughter and was in the lower shed. Before the match whilst we were having a meal I said we’d leave at 5-0. Was a crazy night and the celebrations afterwards were something else. Didn’t think that 3,000 Rangers supporters were going to leave the ground that night. And sing old enough to attend matches there in the 70’s and 80’s when it was wise not to reveal your allegencies (Easter 1982 excepted), I can only describe myself as a bad winner that night walking back along the Kings Road. Was in the face of every North Battersea neandrathal that crossed me.
Was there that night cracking performance and result. The support that night was amazing "we can see you walking out" and " can we play you every week " ahhhh for more games like that ...
10 years on and I still remember that match as the bet that nearly was. We had just been comprehensively beaten by Liverpool at home, and nobody fancied our chances at the Bridge. I took a leap of faith and backed the nil all draw at about 33/1. There was 50/1 available on a 1-0 win, but I thought that would be throwing my money away.....
