A man has been arrested after an eight year old girl and a 34 year old man were shot at point blank range inside a car. There was also a 2 year old in the car who thankfully was unharmed. In a separate event four men have been arrested after another man was stabbed in tower hamlets.

Yes, some of the comments are beyond the pale, but what I was pointing to is the growing opinion among large sections of the population that the big ethnically-diverse cities are sites for increasing gang crime, including an epidemic of stabbings and shootings. Incidentally, the survey I referenced in an earlier post says that Birmingham is even less safe than London.

Most comments deemed racist emanate from people living in areas with very low diversity or multi ethnicity .
One thing is for sure. Nobody of sound mind would seriously put into the public domain what they really feel about this issue . Thoughts stay hidden in one’s own head .
We don’t have institutionalised racism in this country as we don’t classify whole social groups as the sub continent does .
