I've been thinking this for a while. Maybe, just maybe Jenkins & co didn't completely sell out and retained a small percentage for this very reason as security if it all went tits up with the Shermans?

Probably being completely naive, but it would certainly do him some favours in the future if this was the reason.

Not that I'm hoping it goes tits up, like

This is where I am too.

All this rallying to join the Trust...for what? What possible difference is say a couple more thousand members going to make?

I'm not trying to be deliberately abrasive here and it's not about the tenner to join either.

I can see where you're coming from.

Its a bit like owning a house with a lodger living in one of the rooms but doesn't want to move out. I want to sell the house but the lodger acts a c*nt every time a potential buyer turns up

I'd had bad guts all day yesterday and I did the wettest feeling fart imaginable.

Is the right answer. But sold as seen is no longer allowed if a trader. It does apply to private sales tho.

Also, the older the car - the higher the risk.

I've sold loads of cars in good faith but guess what? Things do go wrong afterwards.
