Genius - thank you. Finally an opportunity to tell my often told gag. I have aforesaid tattoo on my genitalia. It simply says "QPR" but when I am excited it says "QUEENS PARK RANGERS" For some strange reason my better half, thinks this has no comedy value as I retell it for the umpteenth time !!! |

I collected that weird publication as a spotty oik !!! A few instances of people spontaneously combusting, the occasional poltergeist playing silly beggars and a few fairies hanging around the mushrooms in the back gardens, I believed all that crap then. So naturally progressed to being a lifelong Rangers fan. The natural cycle of life !! |

And its always someone else that's the tw*t in the world according to Joey.!! Trouble follows this guy around... Attempted to get us relegated at the Etihad.... But truly there is not a word that adequately applies to this man.... |

Shows how young these guys are. To me he looks like he should still be at school. Its a very difficult situation. Am sure in an ideal world he wants to perform and carve out a decent career, but whether it is actually lack of talent , mental health or otherwise, can see why fans are all over this, ie because of his wages, but that was down to ourselves. But Man City initially and then Brighton saw something and we fell for the hype. Whether his agent has done him any favours is hard to assess. Ie whatever he has done extremely well financially out of all of this. But there are many occasions talent has not progressed as it should for a whole variety of reasons. If Cambridge want him back here, I guess we can try to loan him somewhere else but I doubt anyone would pick him up now. Think we should simply pay off the contract and put it down to experience. |

Accidentally down voted when meant to upvote Lblock. Fingers and thumbs or early senility. Jimmy Dunne is the heart beat of this team. He literally bleeds blue and white hoops. Agreed we are in the modern age of football, but Dunne is never going to fetch £2 million anyhow. Maximum £750k but that's not enough. He is such an important player here. Gives it everything every single moment. Is a threat and effective in both areas. Has added scoring and assisting to his game. Is hard to pass and he can adapt so if we change tactics to a back three, he can play either role. So adaptable, a goal threat, a presence in defence, a man that can assist and works well with the men in front of him and a future captain and in a few years will be the senior pro that can help the younger players in the first team and a man that knows the club inside out. So his value to us is on many many different levels and if some idiot decides to get rid too soon, there would be repercussions. A lot of fans would not accept such a stupid decision and could quickly lead to a decline. Dunne is that important for us now. It's not happening though. Otherwise I will eat my hat !!! Crikey are you sure you follow QPR. Some of your posts recently been focusing so much on negatives At the moment mate we keep winning We are currently doing well and about as consistently well as we have done for years Does supporting our club make you happy. You focusing so much on negatives at a time when there are so many reasons to actually for once feel happy and praising the players and management. Not sure if you for real on some of the things you are saying. |

Yes agree It's much easier to work with others if you all pushing together for the overall benefit than people that hate each other. The players do all seem to respect and like each other and all are delighted when another excels even if they are in their position in the team etc. It's definitely the key to success here. Not rocket science but often completely ignored by some. |

We have had periods in our not so distant past when every single player seemed out for themselves. Even the Taraabt season, when it was about the man, never have seen such team togetherness as our squad as right now. Considering so many young players and many from far flung place around the globe, I think team bonding and togetherness.has clearly been grown within the entire squad. Saito and Smyth interview was brilliant. You can see end of each game, we get to cheer individually the game changers and are pushed forward by others.Players on the bench or taken off, all celebrate together. Saw it when Frey jumping up and down after being subbed, Alfie is one that the gets excited if we win a throw in. Am sure Marti and his team have a lot to do with this. He can see players strengths and comes across as very approachable but also very professional too. Definitely shows a lot of support for players but can also make the tough decisions for the good of the game. With the modern way of operating in all aspects of life, am certain there must be people who actually contribute to ways in which the team can become more engaged with each other, in the sense that they all seem like a group of mates, having fun together. Am very very aware, that this is all very easy to see, if we consistently getting such positive results, but am sure there is an element of truth in it and it's helping the team. The support for Jimmy after the sad loss of his father was a clear example. And the delight when Celar finally broke his duck this season. Yes you can still win, if the players all can't stand each other, but in contrast to some dreadful squads we have had in the past, it's fantastic to see and I think it's been another key element in our success. Have others noticed this ??? |

Indeed. Not much better than my schools under 16s teams. But fantastic opportunity for the lad. Hope he takes this chance and kicks on. Good luck to him. |

Have you heard the way they pronounce Chair's name - Shay - ear !!! |
| Forum Reply | Eze Transfer Deal at 23:37 22 Jan 2025
Ooh sorry sir. Had not seen any threads during this transfer window, hence why I posted it. I don't read everything on here. And it seems relevant to me, because it would mean another minimum £10 million into our bank accounts. Hence possibilities for more transfer funds now. And it's this new knowledge that there is no current release clause in January, which is interesting to me as it makes the probabilities of his transfer greater, as clubs could get Eze for way less than the previous release clause figure of £68 million. Was just opening up debate to see what others thought about possibilities of his sale this window. Had no idea there were any other threads on here recently. But yes sorry I consider myself told off.. And I am so boring !!! [Post edited 22 Jan 23:59]

| Forum Reply | Ashby injured or hooked? at 23:15 22 Jan 2025
I can't see any first team opportunities for Newcastle for Ashby. I would think if Ashby proved to be decent , we could have him as a cheaper option to sign as a permanent contract player. He is obviously rated higher than Santos, so surely we will try to push Santos out on loan or sell if possible. Ashby has moments but he is too much of a risk taker when it's not necessary. My own personal opinion is that he could have been told by Cifuentes to cut out the show passes or flashy interceptions and be more aware of where he is on the pitch and take the educated risks, not the do or die options , he regularly seems to try to do. And he could have hooked, because he had made several errors of judgement, and perhaps Cifuentes said if you keep doing this, I will take you off the pitch. Hence his frustration. Interesting management tactics, if so. But I felt he was taken off due to injury. [Post edited 22 Jan 23:19]

Definitely passing more now also. Realises it's not all on him as it has been in previous seasons. All good. |
| Forum Reply | Chair at 18:06 22 Jan 2025
Yes and with not being up to full speed currently but still only one game ago, despite not capitalising on a decent one on one chance himself managed to keep his composure in the same move to intelligently assist the winning goal by finding Kolli in space. So still making an impact... But you are worried about him Stainrod The phrase "FORM is temporary, CLASS is permanent " comes to mind. [Post edited 22 Jan 18:10]

Be very very surprised if this happened. Is Al Nasr a Saudi club, that's big money even for 35 year olds who have seen better days. If he was here, his salary would be miniscule by way of comparisons and it's only in the last couple of seasons that he has made any significant impact at a club since leaving ourselves more than a decade previously. Be on a par with the return of Charlie or Mr Ainsworth coming home or Sir Les in the boardroom. Never go back to an ex to rekindle old memories. Time moves on. And he is a completely different player and person now. But also goes against everything in how the club is being run right now. Zero possibilities this happens.. But rose tinted glasses can get distorted easily. Can understand. Also, the words, " had a disagreement with the club" red flags galore !!! [Post edited 22 Jan 18:01]

Other variable that might need to be considered re Edwards - is a lot of loans are signed under the provision that the loan player starts "x" number of games or makes " x" number of appearances. Which obviously we have no knowledge of those details within Edwards contract loan specifics. [Post edited 22 Jan 17:45]
